HEXAGONAL PRISM

A hexagonal prism is a prism composed of two hexagonal bases and six rectangular
sides. It is an octahedron. A hexagonal prism is a three-dimensional solid shape which
have 8 faces, 18 edges, and 12 vertices. The two faces at either ends are hexagons, and
the rest of the faces of the hexagonal prism are rectangular.

B= 20 in SA=?
10√3 in H= 12 in V=?
12 in a= 10√3 in

V= BH P= ns
A= ½ aP = 6 (20)
P= ns P= 120

A= ½ aP LA= PH

A= 600√3 𝒊𝒏𝟐

SA= 2B+LA V= BH
= 2 (600√3) +1440 = (600√3) (12)
= 1200√3 + 1440 V = 7200√3 𝒊𝒏𝟑
SA= 3518 𝒊𝒏𝟐
