Everything you do on earth is being
recorded in HEAVEN. Pornograpy is
found in all media outlets, be it video, magazines,
movies, books and music. We live in a highly sexualized
culture, which is considered normal. Sexual development is
part of any society. However constant exposure to
pornography ignores its addictive nature. Christian parents
know the lies behind the culture of pornography; that it
desensitizes, sends a wrong message of sexuality, supports
the sexual abuse of women and children, destroys families
and creates strong chains of addiction that are not easily
broken. Each family must be prepared with the necessary
wisdom and courage to confront this evil with their
children. First, it is important to understand that
pornographic addiction is both psychological and physical, In
the short term it is pleasant, but in the long term it creates a
very harmful addiction. Studies carried out to date confirm
that although recovering from drug addiction is very
difficult, addiction to pornography is much more difficult,
since it entails psychological dependence and not physical
dependence. It is important to understand that a first or
second of glance into pornography does not lead to
automatic addiction. However, pornography seduces so
that the viewer returns again and again until addiction is
inevitable. This is why occasional indulgence is
highly dangerous and the best time to talk with
your youth is earlier not later. Another reason why
pornography proliferates so much is that it offer

privacy, and its results are distancing and less
satisfaction, often to the point of indifference.
Jesus said, “I tell you that anyone who looks at a
woman to lust after her, has already committed
adultery with her in his heart" (Matthew 5:28).
There are two main forms of prevention: physical
and emotional. The physical form of prevention
begins when parents make their homes a safe
place that reduces temptations! Every computer,
cell phone and television must have filters and
passwords that only parents access. Parents
should remove any computer or television from their
children’s room and place them in common, visible places.
Although our children are not looking for pornography, it is
out there in one form or another, it can be found in emails
we receive, spam messages and or accidental
websites, T.V. or cell phone. Remember the
pornographic industry wants us to find them,
even if we are not looking for them. Although
physical protection is invaluable, nothing will
offer more protection than emotional
prevention. This is the relationship that must
exist between father, mother and children,
together with the Lord. How can we get rid of
pornography? Remember these,unpleasant
desires that arise in your life are nothing new or different.
Others have faced exactly the same struggles before you, and
no temptation is irresistible. You can trust that God can keep
the temptation from becoming so strong that you can not
stand it, because He has promised this and will do what He
says. "He will show you how to escape the power of
temptation so that you may not lose hope and patiently resist
it" (I Corinthians 10:13). You can not always run away from
temptation, but you can always flee towards God. Emptying
something simply leaves a vacuum that allows it to return.
Filling that space is the only remedy for lasting change.
Filling our minds with the Word of God, filling our thoughts
with prayer, spending time with our families and being
encouraged and appreciative and passing appreciation, these
are the remedies against negative the attractions from our
culture. "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall
make you free" (John 8:32). What does the Bible say about
pornography? As a Christian, you should always move away
from sin. If you believe in the teachings of Jesus
the Christ, you were born again because the Holy
Spirit has made you a new creature. You are no
longer the “old man.”.You must sanctify yourself;
stop seeking sins that you must leave behind. It is
not only about you continuing to watch
pornography, indulging and delighting in lust
and masturbation, “do not satisfy the desires of
the flesh but walk in the spirit.” Rather to turn
to Godliness. Pornography is rampant in today's
world. Perhaps more than anything, Satan has
succeeded in twisting and perverting sex.
Pornography is simply the first step on a slippery slope of
“growing vileness and immorality” (Romans 6:19). As with
drug addiction, where the user is led to consume greater and
more powerful amounts of drugs, to achieve te same “high”
likewise pornography drags the person into more perverse
deep-seated sexual addictions and ungodly desires. Do you
know something else? God will not forgive you if you do not
admit and acknowledge your guilt in those sins by watching
pornography and masturbating; instead
discover God and his character through
the Bible. So leave your sin of
slothfulness to study the Bible to know
God. Instead of spending your time in
the sin of pornography and
masturbating, start reading the Bible. In
this way you can know God and Jesus the Christ and
discover His character and precepts. Instead of spending
your time in satisfying your carnal desires, be a faithful
Christian and servant who bears fruit. Let death find you
being faithful to God in holiness, bearing fruit and not in
unregretful, unrecognized, unrepented sin. This is sin for
which you not asked for forgiveness from God. The three
main categories of sin are: "the lust of the flesh, the lust of
the eyes, and the boasting of life" (1 John 2:16). Pornography
causes us to covet the things of the flesh through our eyes.
Pornography definitely should not pollute our minds or the
things we should think about. "Otherwise, everything that is
true, everything honest, everything just, everything pure,
everything nice, everything that is of good name; if there is
any virtue, if there is something worthy of praise, think on
this" (Philippians 4:8). Pornography is addictive (1
Corinthians 6:12; 2 Peter 2:19), destructive (Proverbs
6:25-28, zekiel 20:30, Ephesians 4:19), and leads to an
ever-growing perversity (Romans 6:19). Coveting
other people in our minds (the essence of
pornography) is offensive to God (Matthew 5:28).
When habitual devotion to pornography
characterizes a person's behavior, it shows
that the person is not saved (1 Corinthians 6:9).
Are you involved with pornography and yearn
to get rid of it? Here are some steps to victory:
(1) Confess your sin to God (1 John 1:9). (2) Pray
for God to cleanse, renew and transform your mind (Romans
12:2). (3) Ask God to fill your mind with (Philippians 4:8. (4)
Learn to keep your body in holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4).
(5) Understand the appropriate meaning of sex and depend
only on your wife to satisfy that need (1 Corinthians 7:1-5) (6)
Consider that if you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfill
the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). (7) Take practical
steps to reduce your exposure to graphic images (eg: Install
pornography blockers on your computer, limit your use of
television and videos; find another Christian who will pray
for you and help you stay accountable. (your parents, or
wife, if you are married). The wife of Hosea the prophet was
a prostitute. She loved by contract, by the gifts that her
lovers gave. Her immorality was not only sexual, but also
emotional, she sold her soul, for gain. It is immoral to love
only for gifts or money. Loving God for only the gifts He
gives is a form of spiritual prostitution. God must be loved
because He is God! In the same way, a wife should be loved
because she is your wife. Forcing a wife to "love by
contract," using the things you buy her as a bribe, actually
makes her take on the role of a prostitute and whatever you
give her becomes her payment. The time of Hosea was over
2,000 years ago. This shows us that sexual immorality has
been with us for centuries!! It is not a recent ‘sin’ brougt
about by the media. Satan walks like a roaring lion looking
to devour; you must be alert. Always use your computer and
tablet for healthy and holy ways to divert your mind and
also relieve your stress, by engaging in some exercise, sports,
etc. The Lord Jesus taught that if “your eye is an opportunity
to sin, it is better to take it away, and better to lose a part of
your body than to go to hell.” Do not stray and slip into the
temptation to see of pornography and masturbation. You can
fight this temptation, close the door and not submit to it.
