DATA COLLECTION INSTRUMENTS TECHNIQUE

We carry out research techniques with the objective of collecting, generating, analyzing and

presenting information that helps us in our research.

TECHNIQUES PARTICIPANT INSTRUMENTS

Observation - Of Field Data collection in the natural environment

- Team up -The Discussion Group

- Mini-discussion groups

Poll Written Questionnaire

Interview Structured -I interview guide

- Voice recorder

Observation: we rely on the technique of observation, because it allowed us to visualize the

problem that is presented in the institution, but not only from sight but also from touch and

listening we were able to discover, evaluate and contrast realities of the field where we carried

out the research, that is, in the María Auxiliadora Educational Institution.

Through participatory observation we carry out the collection of truthful information directly

in the field of study since we are active people in the place where the problem arises, which

allowed us a socializing interaction with the protagonists in this case the students.
The field observations made in the place of the events were socialized between a group of 7

and 10 people which we call "Research Group" the duration of this group for being numerous

did not exceed 2 hours. We also formed “Mini-discussion groups” of 4 to 6 people where we

studied the observations to obtain deeper information about them.

Surveys: through this technique we carry out a statistical investigation in which we take a

sample of the students of the María Auxiliadora school to which social surveys were

conducted in order to obtain information through open and closed questions that we present

in written form in questionnaires, we adjusted our research problem ( the evaluation process

applied to cooperative work in the María Auxiliadora Educational Institution).

With the surveys we managed to extract behaviors, opinions and attitudes of the students

against how the cooperative work in the institution is evaluated. The results were tabulated

in tables and statistical graphs that will be analyzed.

Interview: the interviews were conducted with the objective of obtaining information in an

oral and personalized way, were applied individually, on the opinions and events experienced

by teachers about how cooperative work is carried out in the institution.

The actors who participated in the interview were the interviewers (the researchers) and the

interviewees (the teachers and managers) using voice recorders and interview guides as

recording instruments.
 RECOMENDACIONES

 Adapt the workspace. The workspace does not have to be limited to physical

interaction, but it can also be virtual. Thanks to ICT and through tools such as

classroomPlaneta and Microsoft Office365 you can access a collaborative environment

in the cloud where you exchange opinions and share documents.

2. 2. At the time of moving on to the evaluation of teamwork, two criteria tables must be

created to evaluate; but the teacher will not evaluate both.

-In the first one, the coevaluation will be used, in which students evaluate each other, with

respect to a series of criteria specified by the teacher, on their performance in teamwork.

Thus, the teacher can use a table where the criteria are specified and ask the students to

assign a score (for example from 0 to 2) to each of their team members with respect to each

criterion. After that, the grades that each classmate assigned to each student are averaged,

obtaining a final grade. But to avoid fraud, it is recommended to vary instruments, that is, it

will not always be a list with items, but to change for example: lists, files, interviews,

among others.

-In the second table, the teacher will be in charge of evaluating the work team, through

criteria (these must be previously explained to the students) that they evaluate for example:

° Assistance and punctuality on the day of delivery and socialization of the final product
° Organization and use of teaching elements when socializing

° The work is divided proportionally, so that all members have mastery of the subject

3. In the end, the results obtained in the co-evaluation and in the evaluation made by the

teacher are averaged, resulting in the final grade.
