Interviewer : A Applicant 1 : B Applicant 2 : C Applicant 3 : D

In this little show, we decide to do it in a way of mockumentary. We use monologues of the

characters to reveal what they think and to add interesting plots. Though the plots are very
unreal and a little bit awkward, we want to make it entertaining.

[Scene 1: A’s monologue]

A: Today is the first day of our company’s job interview. I´m responsible for the recruitment 。
I´m Li. We recruit all kinds of elite from nationwide . Swift horse is very often but bole is hard
to find。I´m just the bole . It is well known, our company´s benefits occupy a certain height in
the world, If we are the second, who would dare to say the first?

[Scene 2: A enters the room, beginning the interview]

A: (Entering the room) Welcome to the job fair today. I’m the HR of the company.
Let's start the interview with some questions. Now please make a simple introduce about
yourself.

B: Good morning. It is really my honor to have the opportunity for an interview. I hope I can
make a good performance today and I am confident that I can succeed. My name is Wang
Ye. My father is “Li Gang”. Li, we have known each other, right? Last night you and I had our
dinner together and I wonder if you have lost something. I believe that this book must belong
to you. (B takes out a book with a hundred yuan bill in it, meanwhile the view focused on the
corner of the 100 yuan bill emerging from the book and passes the book to A.)

[Scene 3: B’s monologue]

B: Well, sometimes it just takes some price to get the job,(making a money gesture with his
hand)，you know what I mean? (with a smirk on his face)

[Back to Scene 2]

A: Thank you, I am very optimistic about you.

C: I am almost a saint. I have no shortcoming. It does not matter where I come from or where
I will go. Never expect me to questions, I am not a good questioner. You do not need to
keep my words in your mind, because what I say is trivial. If beauty is a sin, I have committed
heinous crimes; if wise must be punished, I will be hacked in pieces; if modesty is subjected
to be torture, how could I ever escaped in succeed?

A: I can felt your modesty . What about you? (talking to D)

D: I am new in the job market, as I have just graduated from Tsinghua University. I’ve
interviewed many jobs but I never succeeded. I hope I can get the job this time.

[Scene 4: D’s monologue]

D: I really don’t know why I cannot get the jobs. The last time I went to Microsoft, the
interviewer asked me How much is windows 10 in china. And I was like ,isn’t it free? Then I
was asked to get out. Why? (putting his hands in the air and act innocently)

[Back to Scene 2]
A: OK, then I will ask each of you a question. (talking to B)So why should I choose you from
so many candidates?

B: Just as I said, I have a powerful family background. My entering your company will bring a
lot of benefit to both the company and me. This is a Win-Win situation. (do a win-win
gesture)(wink his eyes to A)

A: Fair enough. So C, what are your greatest strengths?

C: My biggest advantage is that I have no shortcoming, Everybody who knows me all suppose
that. And I think I am quite modest, really.

A: OK...(answering awkwardly) And finally, D, how do you handle your failure?

D: All of us are not born perfectly, I believe I will be given a second chance to correct my
mistake. I believe I can get the job this time.

A: Em… Well actually you don’t get the job. Better luck next time. I see... About this
interview....(A’s phone rings suddenly) hello?(walking out of the room)

C: This job is already mine.(confidently)

B: Really? (with a smirk)

(after a while)

A: (back into the room) I think I got the result! Finally, congratulations to B!

B: Nailed it! (with a laugh)

C: I’m perfect. I don’t need this loser‘s job. (leave the room)

D: I guess nothing good can happen to me.

[Scene 5: A & B’s monologue]
A: No one doesn’t like money. (loosening his grip)
B: That’s how you get things perfectly done. Wink wink. (with a smirk)

A: Thank you for all your time. Goodbye!

(B, C, D left the room)

A: (after they left, A opened the book, and found out that his was tricked. ) What the heck?!

THE END

This is the “100yuan” bill that tricked A.

what the characters think.
