 Abstract
Now a days,new technologies help us a lot in saving the time and make the work
efficient.In our project,We’ll solve all the general house problems just in one click on
our android application.We’ll provide housekeeping services which consist of Plumbers,
Electricians, Carpenters, Cleaning and Pest Control. We’ll also provide personal services
like beauty, spa, mobile and other appliance repairs etc. Be it getting a plumbing job
done, improving your fitness through yoga, learning to play the guitar, decorating your
home or getting candid photos of your wedding clicked,we are a sure shot destination for
your service needs.
Due to rapid advancements in technology, the smart phones are proved to be an
imperative source of communication and now have become an integral part of our daily
lives. In INDIA, people are facing problems in finding and hiring local technical
professionals to avail repairing and maintenance services for their homes and offices.
Because of unavailability of such type of system, new workers are also facing dilemma
of finding appropriate work in their vicinity. To overcome this problem, it's immensely
important to design and develop a platform in order to bridge the communication gap
between the technical workers and end-users which can provide an easy and
understandable interface for both using the current trends of technology. To get the best
of smart phones, this work proposes an android application for android smart phones
with the name Android solvotech. Android solvotech can be a great start in this context
in India. It is an android app that can communicate with the user and experts possessing
different technical skills. It contains Google Map and its features like navigation and
current location to achieve geo-based searching and hiring. Users are allowed to see all
the selected group of workers on Google Map with the help of markers. The app
currently has only four categories of experts i.e. Decorators, Electricians, Mechanics,
Plumbers but it is expandable.

Renovate is a project which is based on the android app development.In this project the
client can hire any professional worker for their house maintenance like
electrician,plumber,mechanic etc.It contains Google Map and its features like navigation
and current location to achieve geo-based searching and hiring. Users are allowed to see
all the selected group of workers on Google Map with the help of markers.
Renovate-It is a contribution towards solution for local workers who are unaware of the
power of smart phones. This App is designed and developed on android platform [5]
and Website’s backend is developed using php, javascript and frontend is designed with
CSS, HTML, and Bootstraps. Firebase is used as an online server, real-time database,
push notification service and web hosting for both android and website. Mysql has
been used due to unavailability of group messaging in FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
Presently the proposed App/Website is started as a testing purpose, if it will get some
financial support it can be a breakthrough for all type of workers as well as for users.
The main objective of this work is to develop a system comprising of a website and an
android app which includes the following features:
1. Provide options of most needed workers i.e. Plumber, Electrician, Mechanic and
Decorator.
2. Inform via push notification with work description to worker.
3. Send acceptance push notification to customer.
4. Distance and time duration with path from customer to worker will be shown on
Google Map.
5. Customer and worker can call or send SMS to each other.

The knowledge management system for domestic appliance repair is a practical working
support system. The main framework comprises three tiers: ASP platform, knowledge
server and knowledge management terminal. According to the demands of repair
knowledge and the types of knowledge, the system provides communication platforms for
repairers and online document search of technology information about domestic
appliances. The main contribution is that it establishes a case base of repair experiences to
manage the tacit knowledge by case-based reasoning. The system is very useful in practice.
Product repair of domestic appliance (free or not) is one of the normal items of after
sale service in China. The performance of product repair is directly related to customer
satisfaction and brand image of manufacturers. All main domestic appliance
manufacturers in China pay more attention to the establishment and operation of the
network of product repair stations. Every manufacturer has more than 3000 repair
stations all over the country. Generally the costs of free repair are important cost items
for manufacturers. To improve the repair service ability and control the costs are the
basic aims of the network operation. Now repair work is full of challenges. In order to
meet the changing demands of customers and to respond to the drastic competition,
manufacturers need to develop new products. New material, new technology and new
design concepts are continually used in the development and manufacture of product.
So it is difficult for the repairers working busily everyday to follow the steps of
developing technology. Therefore it is hard for them to immediately solve the new
problems they often face. Along with the improvement of production technology and
quality control, the products are more and more reliable. But with the increase of sales
up to millions the accumulated product faults turn to rise. And the current amount of
repairmen cannot meet the market demand, which leads to their over workloads.
Besides the measures to improve product reliability and reduce the fault rates, the
solution of repair problem is to establish practical and convenient repair support
system with the concept of knowledge management to facilitate product repairing
processes. Such a support system will enhance the repairers' abilities and upgrade their
performance by helping them handle repair issues in time.

A Mobile application for locating the available handyman services within a locality.

This study applied Agile methodology as the software methodology for developing the
application. Data was collected using questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis
was done using Google analysis tools and the results from the system requirements.
Handyman mobile application was then built to locate the available handyman services
within a locality. A web based application was also developed for managing and
monitoring the mobile application. Testing of the final application was done successfully
by the potential users and developer of the application. From the results of the test, the
respondents agreed that the developed application would be effective in addressing the
shortcomings of the already existing systems by effectively locating handyman services
within a specific area and providing a more structured approach for determining the
quality of services to be provided. Users will benefit by using the handyman application
to locate handyman services easily and more specific to their location. The application
will also serve to meet the growing need for on demand handyman services.

It is an application for storing and managing the details of the students in the collage.
We can use there technique for developing the android application for out project.
This paper involves an application for the android base operating system for an institute
which will provide the detail and accurate information about an institute. This
application is simple yet powerful which integrated platform that connects all the various
departments of an institute like Administration, Account, Students section, student and
many more modules. We have seen over the years that the process of notice
board,important notification about academics has been carried out manually, this process
is not only time consuming but also inefficient. In this app we can get the notification
given by the institute via emails.

looking for innovative ways to generate revenue from this rapidly growing technology
while taking the advantage of the immediacy and convenience that mobile technology
has to offer. Mobile apps play a vital role, and have changed the focus from what's on the
Web, to the apps on mobile devices, and it is no longer an option but an imperative. The
purpose of this article is to provide information on how to create an app and to explore
