We are the largest manufacturer and distributor of
mattresses in North America.
Headquartered in Doraville, Georgia, we own and
manage the two largest bedding brands: Serta and
Beautyrest.

Chairman & CEO,
David (Dave) Swift
■ As of 2019, Dave is the Chairman & CEO of SSB. He
also serves as Executive Chairman of the Board of
Directors of Dawn Holdings, Inc., SSB’s parent
company. Dave is also Executive Business Partner
at Advent International, a role he has held since
August 2014.
■ Dave holds a Bachelor’s degree, with Honors, in
Physics and Mathematics from Amherst College, a
Master’s degree in Engineering from Thayer School
of Engineering at Dartmouth College, and an MBA,
with Honors, from Harvard Business School.

Chief Marketing Officer,
Melanie Huet
■ Since January 2019, Melanie has been responsible
for all marketing and advertising initiatives for the
SSB house of brands. She evaluates new marketing
technology opportunities and channels to reach
customers more directly. Melanie also leads SSB’s
Innovation Team to deliver cutting edge products
and technology across SSB’s portfolio.
■ Melanie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising
and German from the University of St. Thomas, and
an MBA from the William E. Simon School of
Business at the University of Rochester.

Chief Transformation Officer,
David Campos
■ Since January 2019, David has been responsible for
building and executing a company-wide business
system that accelerates SSB’s strategy to maintain
and grow the company’s market-leading position in
both traditional and new sales channels.
■ Originally from Colombia, David graduated, with
Honors, from the University of Los Andes and later
earned a Master’s degree in Management and a
Master’s degree in Engineering from Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT).

It’s the latest technology in the sleep industry: cooling gel. And mattress giant, Serta Simmons,
has wasted no time developing a product that encompasses the newest technology. Introducing
iComfort by Serta – a mattress that keeps you cool while you sleep. The mattress is now
available for purchase online at www.serta.com or your local retailer, such as Macy’s.
The mattress comes in two different models: Memory Foam and Hybrid. Price tag for the
Memory Foam ranges from $1,199 to $2,499 and for the Hybrid, $1,099 to $2,799. Which one is

Memory Foam
The Memory Foam models feature layers of premium foam that provide cooling comfort and
cradling support. All new models also feature carbon fiber-infused memory foam for sleep that’s
cooler than ever.
Hybrid
For those who prefer an innerspring system, the Hybrid models combine Serta’s top-of-the-line
Serta Hybrid Coil system with advanced memory foams. These elements work together for
superior motion control and pressure-relieving support.

The Brand
Serta and Simmons were originally two separate companies. Founded in 1870, Simmons is
responsible for the release of the well-known brand Beautyrest – the first mattress brand to
introduce queen- and king-size options. Serta was later founded in 1931 and the two companies
merged to one in 2010. Serta Simmons recognized the sleep industry was being dominated by
direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, like Casper, Purple, and Leesa. In 2018, Serta Simmons
acquired Tuft & Needle, a DTC brand founded in 2012 by JT Marino and Daehee Park and
headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.
