My Educational Philosophy Statement

There are several important purposes of teaching throughout each and every teacher

that makes them a good or bad teacher. Education is the key and necessity to the students, it all

begins during childhood education. The importance starts off with the endless opportunities we

could offer our students as the start learning. The opportunities lead on to learn how to play,

experiment, explore and discover the world. My philosophy on education students is that every

single student is unique in its own style. They all learn differently, some faster than others but at

the end there is an outcome that comes out of the purposes of a teacher being taught to learn. The

key to this success comes to the attention as a teacher to what is needed to present an offer in a

classroom for the students to give their potential to learn and focus in class. There are examples

like flexible seating, some classes are great functioning in that environment. There are also some

classes that do not fit that luxury and they run better in a standard seating. What does always

help and increases the potential and mood is how classroom is set. My personal experience

results in the remembering of the teachers that had a great example and instruction. It all was

learned as a sponge but most importantly every teacher had their own way that would engage my

attention.
Therefore, I was giving in my attention and wanting to learn. In my case we never

had the luxury of flexible seating like I said it works great in some classes but back when I was

in a classroom we had assigned seating and it was all in desks and chairs. Also, there are some

very important factors that have to play in this learning to be essential. First, we have to be able

to offer hands on activities that engages students to participate and get excited to learn the

outcome or reason of the activity. Secondly, the classroom during instruction should be less

demanding, with that said the classroom needs to be less boot camp like. Less "do this, do that"

and more choices for students to pick out of for them to feel included and less stressed. With

choices students have less curiosity and distraction. Thirdly, and not everyone had this luxury but

now da technology has a huge play in today’s learning. And technology is required to

incorporate into the lesson plan for a better outcome and increase in potential from the student.

Besides that, I will say that the attitude and personality as a teacher gives the student the ability

of mood given on the, we have to take that serious and make sure as a teacher to always smile

and not react on a student over something personal. There are also certain learning philosophies

that do not work with some students, and this is where as a teacher we need to be creative and we

are required to offer something different for that individual or group that seems to learn

differently.

The truth, it may take more work to do this but at the end to succeed as a group and

reflect on a teacher this has to be followed. The most forgettable element as a responsibility for

the teacher is to make sure you make them and also have them safe. And by that, I mean offering

them ideas to follow and to engage themselves to the required routines needed to take in order to

be safe in case of a danger. Something else that is not taken seriously is diversity. This in
particular has a huge impact on students and unfortunately in some teachers and therefore you

shouldn't be a teacher in a diverse setting. Every student should get the same treatment no more

or less due to what race they are. We as teachers need to accept each one of them as who they

are, and also help them embrace them to care and like between them as well.
