SEMI COLON

Why semi colon? For other people, it is random, like it’s just punctuation mark but for me

it is meaningful because of the lesson I can get from it. In a sentence, we use semi colon to indicate

we are resting or taking a pause. It means that it is not the end of the sentence, and there is still a

continuation.

In our lives, we come to the point where we also get tired, we fell, we’re hurt, scarred and

feel like giving up. This feelings are normal. It is okay to cry, stop and breakdown once in a while.

It’s not about how long the process will take, it’s about how you’ll finish it. Learn to rest, stop

when you needed to, but always take God everywhere with you. He is the only one who can help

us because in Him, we can do all things.

When life gets tough, remember that so are you. “This too shall pass”, because this things

are like stepping stones that can help us to grow as a better person. But if you stop in the middle

of your journey, you will miss the lessons you can get from it. God can help you as long as you

fully surrender yourself to Him. Keep moving forward.. friends, don’t be like that rabbit who gives

up during the race, be like the turtle.. slowly but moving forward.

When you feel like the world is against you, appreciate the things or people around you.

Your family, friends, teachers, classmates and etcetera, they are there for a purpose. That is your

support group. Don’t let your burden be carried by you alone. As what the quote says “ No man is

an island” because indeed no man deserves to be alone.

But do not ever forget to stay connected to our greatest friend, God. Whatever we might

be facing today, he is there always to strengthen, to help and uphold us. He did not let us to be this

far just to leave us. Everyday, just always remember why you started and that you are strong soul

that will shine brighter and brighter every storm. “If you get tired, learn to rest but not to quit”.
