TASK PERFORMANCE
Water Refilling Station
The influx of water refilling stations is the business sector’s response to the apparent need for safe
drinking water. Water refilling stations are among the most promising ventures. The demand for clean
drinking water will never diminish, and water refilling stations are the preferred supplier of a growing
number of people. Besides its profit potential, this business is easy to operate.

Guidelines: Select an existing water refilling business of your choice, focusing on small and medium-sized
enterprises. Conduct a company review for your chosen business following the suggested outline as
follows:

I. Background
a. It must include a brief history and description of the chosen company.
II. Statement of the Problem
a. How did the business decide on the location and layout of its facility?

b. What is the main strategy of the business in terms of facility management?
(Refer to 05 Handout 1)
c. What is/are the organizational consideration/s of the company in implementing its
strategies? (Refer to 05 Handout 1)
d. What is/are the initiative/s of the company in terms of health, safety, and security of its
employees? (Refer to 08 Handout 1)
e. What type/s of maintenance method/s is/are being employed by the company?
(Refer to 11 Handout 1)
III. Summary of Findings
a. It must provide a detailed discussion of the answers corresponding to every point stated
in the statement of the problem.
b. The researchers must conduct a thorough analysis and gathering of data using different
methods like interview or survey questionnaires. The researchers must establish a
connection between the gathered data and the concepts discussed in facility management.
IV. Alternative Courses of Action
a. It must contain at least (2) types of maintenance methods (other than the existing method
that the given business is using), which must be employed by the company in order to
promote smooth and efficient business operation.
b. It must also present the advantages and disadvantages of each proposed maintenance
method, which are relevant to the operations of the given company.
V. Recommendation
a. It must present the best maintenance method among the presented alternatives in
ensuring long-term efficiency in the operations of the given company.
VI. Management Lessons Learned
a. It must discuss the key takeaways from the research.
VII. Auxiliary (Optional)
a. It must present the documentation of the research not limited to the photos taken during
the company visit and conducted interviews. This section may also include business plans

(if there will be any), or any other pertinent documents retrieved during the course of the
research.
VIII. Bibliography
a. This section must present all the references used in accomplishing the research, if
applicable. The entire paper must follow the official writing style of the American
Psychological Association (APA).
