A 3-bus 3-line power system modeled using the DC Flow assumptions has generation P_Gi, and
load P_Li located at all three buses, i = 1, 2, 3. Load data for all buses are shown in Table 1. Line
data is given in Table 2 and measurements of real power generation and real power ows and their
variances are given in Table 3: 1. Determine the measurement matrix H under the DC-Flow
assumptions. 2. Compute the weighted least square estimates of the phase angles of the bus
voltages in radians. 3. Determine the estimation error e with respect errors between actual and
estimated measurements. 4. Using the chi-square test for alpha = 0.01, determine whether a bad
measurement is present. (If the answer is yes, DO NOT determine the measurement.) 5. Are the
measurements errors within the tolerance of the metering equipment accuracy?
