Description: This app lesson will develop grade 6 students’ understanding of the US
governments And how it works

Instructional Objective: Students will be able to make their own sample

constitutions based on the principles that they have learned through out this lesson

Step 1 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will use the google application and
search for the make-up of the US government

Step 2 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will then use the YouTube
application to search and watch videos on the makeup of the government

Step 3 Creation-Based (Learning Artifact) or Skill-Based App (Screenshot of

Progress): Students will then use the Constitution application to go through the
constitution and pick out articles that they would like to amend.

What article they chose, why, and how they amended it would be presented in front of
the entire class.

Documents are to be kept at a one page minimum featuring articles that the students
place the most emphasis as an article that needs change.
