Trainee Personal Goals

I am working on the prior knowledge questions; I want to ask a good prior knowledge questions
and how to ask the students question to make them think.

“I thought 90% will understand but 10% had not”

Lesson Focus

Whole class: I want the students to understand the concept of the simple addition

Focus group: I will do three activities (Seeds of the watermelon, Apple tree, Addition box)

Lesson Outcomes

Students will be able to:

understand the concept of addition as a process of combining or merging two groups of objects.

They already know:

Critical Thinking: When the students answer the questions, they need to think. Also, when they
do the website game, they want to solve the Mathematical question.

Collaboration: When they work together to solve the Mathematical question in the main
activity.

main activity.

Technology literacy: When the teacher will use the computer to play the song and the website
activity. In addition, when we use the smart board.

Teacher will do 3 activates in the centre because if the master students finish the first activity,
they go the other activity and that help me to manage the class.

1- The seeds of the watermelon activity it will take time so, I will put the master students in
this activity first.
2- The apple tree activity it's useful for developing students because the students will work
together, and they correct for together.
3- The addition box activity it's useful for emerging students because they will see how
many they got, and they count the number by using tangible objects.

Students who can’t solve the Math question I will sit with him to help him to understand the
math activity.

Differentiation activities (Stretch)

Students will know the addition when they do the 3 activity.
