Dear Ma’am Eden,

Good day! We are writing this letter with an intention of asking an apology for our
absences and to inform you that we are sincerely accepting your benevolent offer of seeking
help from the dean. In connection to this, we went to Dr. Nimfa Torremoro, dean of the College
of Education, to discuss with her the reasons for our absences, to wit:
1. poor health condition;
2. financial constraints; and
3. unforeseen emergencies.

In this regard, we are notifying you that we have made an agreement with the dean
about this matter. Furthermore, she already allowed us to attend our classes on your subject.
We are not denying the fact that we have committed few absences and for that, we are deeply
asking for your forgiveness. We are counting on high hopes that you will give us another chance
to prove that we are responsible students despite of our mistakes.
