Induction and Oath Taking Ceremonies 2019

"Streaming through the waves of leadership development through unity of young intellectuals.."

The Supreme Student Council of Capiz State University Mambusao Satellite College-Poblacion conducted
an oath taking/induction ceremony on 13th of September 2019 held at CapSU Gymnasium together with
the accredited organizations in the school. "..." was the theme for the said event. It was started by an
introductory speech given by Dr. Adelfo Z. Virtudazo - Satellite College Director, who calls for a challenge
to her co-student leaders to become effective and efficient leaders as being more active in the school
activities.

Then it was followed by an oath taking of newly elected officers of CapSU Poblacion and the rest of the
school's accredited organizations led by the SSC Officers together with our most active and enthusiastic
SSC Adviser Ms. Olga L. Llanera, starting with the Homeroom Officers; from AB-English 1&2 inducted by
Dr. Maria Aurora V. Bernabe, BSCS 1-4, BSFT 1-4, & BSOA 1&2 inducted by their Department Chairs. Next
is the Year Level and Department Officers, Prof. Lalaine E. Ricardo inducted the Department Officers,
Junior Officers by Prof. Leo B. Pula, and Senior Officers by Prof. Lecel O. Bobier. Another is the
Organizational Officers on PAFT-RHO by Prof. Edzil B. Lorenzo, KKP by Mrs. Shiela L. Martinez, TES-GSO by
Prof. Felyn Mae G. Yap, Linguist Society by Dr. Maria Aurora V. Bernabe, Fire Starters by Prof. Lalaine E.
Ricardo and The Courier Editorial Board by Prof. Freden S. Delgado. Lastly, were the FLP Officers and Sub
Chapters 1,2&3 by Prof. Freden S. Delgado and followed by the SSC Representatives and Appointees
which is inducted by Dr. Adelfo Z. Virtudazo.

Then, Mr. Clifford John E. Sunio, our SSC President this school year 2019-2020 delivered and spoke a very
enlightening talks not just on how to become a good leader but tackles on how to start leading through
self-discipline and self-sufficiency. Quoted by his own words of 'What is a Leader?'.

" A Leader is someone who helps anyone in the way, but am I capable of the job? NO... Not alone, we are
all leaders amongst ourselves if you cooperate with one another..." He says with much confidence and
which is why 'Ang Kabataan Ang Pag-Asa ng Bayan'.

"We are United, precise and amazing, we are weak alone, yet together we are strong. Learn from the
mistakes of the past and then moved ahead, just like in our organization "Buligan nyo ako Kay Buligan ko
man kamo." The words which he strongly believe and wanted to implant to the young minds of the
student leaders, that the nation, that this country, needs the young people to have a better change in
the Philippines.

Then, Mr. Clifford John E. Sunio bid thanks to the SSC Officers, to our SSC Adviser Ms Olga L. Llanera for
all the support she has given to the organization, to our OSA Chair Prof. Lalaine E. Ricardo for all that she
provided for the goodness of all CapSU students and to our beloved Satellite College Director, Dr. Adelfo
Z. Virtudazo for his never-ending support to faculties, staffs and students. And also to our Co-student and
schoolmates for actively cooperating in any event.
Indeed, the event was a success for all the Student Leaders whom solemly pledge that on that days
begins the challenge of being a good leader from a small group of organization to a bigger involvement
in the society in the near future will be possible by starting to practice a better leadership characteristics
from one self.

Let us gain new knowledge in managing and leading towards high impact service, in order to build our
organization, our department and consequently, build CapSU Poblacion.
