COMOA INVADERS; CHAMPION IN CHEER DANCE COMPETITION!

After nearly a month of intense rehearsal coupled with a lot of sacrifices and some bruises on our arms
and feet, at long last, the final result is out. Finally, the COMOA INVADERS was declared as the
Champion in Cheer Dance Competition and also the OVER-ALL CHAMPION in Literary Music, Culture and
the Arts Event in our Intramurals Day which was held on October 16, 2019 at CSU-MSC Poblacion
Gymnasium. It was witnessed by a big crowd of students, faculties and staff and especially the School
Director of our campus. Due to the strong determination and perseverance of the participating
members, we as a team were able to achieve their fondest dream of being the winner at last. They really
strived hard and spent many precious hours practicing their yells and movements in clock-work
precision during their vacant periods, every weekend and sometimes even after dismissal time period in
the afternoon, with the aim of improving our performances as a whole.

Truly speaking, trials and sometimes failures including some petty quarrels and misunderstanding
among ourselves were always present. They are things which we could not simply avoid, but we
persevered and we tried our best to make things work out. At the end, we became stronger and
determined to conquer the floor and to come out on top of the competition.

The other teams outsmarted by us through our very energetic and fantastic performance. Self-
confidence, discipline and unity were the keys in our quest for excellence. All the hardships and time
spent for practice have really paid off which brought great happiness and contentment to everyone.

“The ultimate victory in competition is derived from the inner satisfaction of knowing that you have done
your best and that you have gotten the most out of what you have to give.” – (Howard Cosell)
