INTRODUCTION
Fashion hub as the name suggests, centre of all fashion activities. It makes
identity for itself, bringing out various fashion shows, it acts as a platform to
bring international fashion brands and designers under one roof. In other words,
Fashion hub act as a meeting point for all the major activities related to fashion.
FASHION AND ARCHITECTURE
“We need houses as a we need clothes, Architecture stimulates fashion”
It seems both shares lots of common function, i.e. Providing shelter and
protection of the body, both creates spaces and volume, two dimensional and
three dimensional material, use geometry to generate forms, they create
structure, fashion is an art dealing with structure and shape, one that relates to
the form and function of the human body.
AIM
 To design the absence of a world class Fashion hub in India and to
provide a common platform to bring international fashion designers and
brands and all fashion related events under one single place.
 To create interactive, creative and inspiring platforms for various
professionals pertaining to fashion industry and linking architecture and
fashion.
OBJECTIVE
 To study about fashion related events and provide the flexible and
adaptive space that could adopt all the events.
 To develop a fashion hub that mix of fashion, business, entertain, culture
and leisure.
 To study about themed restaurants and recreational areas and to provide
recreational spaces to attract tourists and public.
SCOPE
 Such a hub would act as a magnet for potential stakeholders, fashion
designers, fashion houses, retailers etc and would provide a common
platform to interact.
 Provide an established venue for major fashion events that shall occur in
our country.
 Exhibition will ensure designers and manufactures are being given
maximum exposure.
 Fashion hub is the right step to strengthen the fashion industry.
NEED OF THE PROJECTS
 There are some major and important reasons why we need this project in
India.
 India has a rich and varied textile heritage. Each region of India has its
own unique native costume and traditional dress.
 The strength of fashion industry also rests on strong raw materials
availability.
