Statement Analysis of Glaxo SmithKline Bangladesh Ltd. (GSK Bangladesh) would not have
taken the present form in the absence of the invaluable guidance, inspiration and cooperation

 Executive Summary

The pharmaceutical sector is one of the thrust sectors in Bangladesh. Due to recent development
of this sector, the industry is exporting medicines to global markets, including the European
market. This sector is also providing 97% of the total medicine requirement of the local market.
Leading companies are expanding their business with the aim to expand into the export market.
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is a leading multinational healthcare company operating in Bangladesh
for years. GSK aims at offering high quality medicines and vaccines to enhance the quality of
human life around the world.

This report is about the Glaxo SmithKline Bangladesh Ltd. (GSK Bangladesh) Here we
studied the most recent five years financial data to know their financial conditions and the value
creation of the firm.

In this report there is discussion on topics of overall financial activities and the performance of
Glaxo SmithKline Bangladesh Ltd. (GSK Bangladesh) This report also discusses about ratio
analysis and end up a conclusion of company’s performance.

This report also give clear idea about analyzing company’s financial position and performance
based on financial statement and the different sectors of financing. Also some other basic
functions are like- solvency, profitability, liquidity and efficiency of Glaxo SmithKline
Bangladesh Ltd. (GSK Bangladesh) In this report we also provide some important and
valuable information about general & other functions which we closely observed and done in
terms of making interpretation.
