Introduction

Hot Dip Galvanized Steel at ISL is produced on modern, computer controlled plant located in the Landhi Industrial Area Pakistan. The best available raw
materials and processes are applied under controlled conditions to produce the sheet which gives us multiple advantages over the products available in the
market. The level of quality produced is simply unmatched which is backed by total quality management techniques to ensure the fine surface finish.

State-of-the-art manufacturing facility, a dynamic production team and adherence to strict quality control measures as per the Japanese International
Standards ensures production of the best quality and the most reliable galvanized steel.

Production Facilities

The manufacturing facility of ISL is strategically located in the main industrial area of the city and is equipped with a planned combined capacity of
150,000MT per annum of Galvanized products. ISL has;

 State of the art non-oxidized furnace with continuous galvanizing line


 Maximum Line speed of 160 meters per minute
 HOT Dip Galvanized POT is from one of the leading Zinc pot supplier AJAX, USA
 Roll forming machinery to produce sheets for industrial shed covering

Manufacturing Process

ISL will produce hot dip coated galvanized sheet on a highly automated continuous hot dip coating line where the cold rolled steel sheet is cleaned and
annealed in a continuous NOX furnace before being immersed in a molten zinc bath under an inert atmosphere. The molten zinc forms a metallurgical bond
with the steel and protects the substrate by sacrificial protection mechanism; the zinc sacrifices itself to protect the steel against corrosion.
