How to use...
1. IODINE TABLETS
Treating water from rivers, lakes, wells, cisterns, or similar systems (greater or
less than 4 degrees celsius (40 degrees fahrenheit)):

Prior to use, remove all suspended material by filtration or allow to settle to
the bottom of an initial container. Afterwards, move contaminated water to a
new, clean container for treatment.

To use: Remove one Aquatab tablet from its packaging and quickly insert into
⅕ gallon (0.75 liters) of contaminated water (6.5 ppm (6.5 mg/L) available
chlorine). Mix well for at least 10 minutes, then allow to stand for 30 minutes
before drinking. The treated water is now ready for drinking.

Treating individual water systems at room temperature:

To use: Remove one Aquatab tablet from its packaging and quickly insert into
2 quarts (0.5 gallon) of contaminated water (2.6 ppm (2.6 mg/L) available
chlorine). Mix well for at least 10 minutes, then allow to stand for 30 minutes
before drinking. The treated water is now ready for drinking.

How to Collect Natural Water

Plants/trees
To collect water in a natural environment from plants and trees:
1. Find a common plant/tree with a branch in the sunlight. Sufficient
plants include:
a. Maple Tree
b. Oak Tree
c. Birch Tree
i. Note: almost any plant will work for this except certain ones
are more ideal than others
2. Take out the plastic bag.
3. Find a branch on the tree, preferably low-hanging and in the sunlight.
4. Tie/seal the plastic bag around the branch so that there are no holes for
the water to leak out from. Leave a marker as to where you put the bag
so you can come back to collect the water.
5. After a few hours, come back and collect the water from the bag.
