According to a report from internetworldstats.com, the number of internet users in the Philippines
increased by 13 million or 27% from January 2016 to January 2017, which is four times the 7% growth
rate in the previous 12-month period. This translates to approximately 60 million Filipinos online, or
roughly 60% of the population which is 10% higher than the global average.

That said, internet connection is now a necessity rather than a luxury and the need for a faster and more
reliable internet service provider (ISP) is always at the back of everyone’s minds. Each ISP’s reliability,
speed, customer service, and price vary per internet package, location, and the areas they service, and it
is important to find out which plan fits your needs before signing on the dotted line.
