Instructions to Institutions for registration with CERSAI

Please refer our circular dated 11-04-2011 on the captioned subject wherein we have
requested you to apply for registration of User Administrator(s) with CERSAI latest by April
18, 2011. We are yet to receive your application form for this registration process.

In this regard we would like to inform you that before registration of transactions with
Central Registry by an institution, it has to apply for registration of User Administrator(s)
with CERSAI. The User Administrators will create and authorize users of the institution to
access the Central Registry for various purposes. The forms for registration of User
Administrators were enclosed with our circular dated 11-04-2011. The registration forms can
also be downloaded from the CERSAI web-portal (http://www.cersai.org.in )

As per SARFAESI (Central Registry) Rules 2011, each institution has to register a security
transaction with central registry system within thirty days of the creation of charge /
securitization. As such any delay in registering User Administrator (s) may result in delay
on registration of transactions and may also attract penalty as applicable.

In view of above, you are once again requested to submit the registration forms duly filled
in and signed by the approving officer, without any further delay.

Your early action in this regard is highly appreciated.
