The scope of Fracture
Mechanics is to study the
propagation of cracks in the
materials under different
loadings.
This short course intends to
develop understanding of
how structures fail and our
ability to prevent such
failures by application of
facture mechanics.
Moreover, in this short
course an efficacious
approach towards the ways
of description and interpreta-
tion of real world problems
would be addressed with the
help of industrial failures
case studies.
