1- Install Oracle.

 In Oracle Installation Setting Screen you must to choose Arabic Language.

 Oracle8 Enterprise Edition.
 Select Ooracle8 partitioning Option in Cartridge and Options.
 In Database Configuration Screen Select Custom Configuration(allow you to
create a customized database).
 In Installing Legato Storage Manager Screen choose No.
 In Installing Oracle Documentation Screen choose CD_ROM.
 Now start Installation.
 After complete Installation, It will starting Installing Custom Database.
 Choose large database.
 Enter In Database Name & SID (ORCL).
 In Table space Screen increase space for all special System (200 M)and Rollback
(70 M), and put Unlimited In all Table space.
 In parameter screen Increase
 Shared Pool Size= 40,000,000.
 Block Size = 8192.

2- Rename folder (ORAINST). In \orant\

3- Install Developer.

 In Language screen choose English.

 In Oracle Installation Settings screen use the same Oracle Home.
 In Developer 2000 Installation Options screen choose Development Installation.
 In Developer Installation Options screen choose typical.
 In System Support Files screen click OK.
 Now start Installation.
 After Complete Installation Restart Computer.

4- Copy all shortcut for oracle in programs to new folder (oracle). Go to programs ,
click right click use (open all users).

5- Tnsnames.
 Oracle for Windows NT => Oracle Net8 Config.
 In First screen enter in field New Service Name (Yemensoft).
 In second screen choose Bequeath (local database) .
 In third screen click Next.
 In fourth screen Database SID: ORCL.
 In fifth screen you can test service or no. click Next.
 In final screen click Finish.
 Go to \Orant\Net80\Admin copy file (TNSNAMES.ORA) .
 Paste this file to \Orant\NetWork\Admin.

6- Change some parameter in (initorcl.ora). In \orant\database\

Add :
 Open_Cursors=3000.

Update:
 DB_File_multiblock_read_count =32.
 DB_Block_buffers = Size In RAM / db_block_size.
(Size In RAM doesn't increase half Memory).
 Sort_Area_Size=262144.

7- Copy folder onyx to server.

8- Click on Install.fmx . In \Onyx\DBA\ folder.

See in figure 1.

 Connect system/manager.
 Click Change Password.
 Enter code of drive Onyx folder is found it. Like d: or e: without " \ ".
 Click Registry Setting. It change all register setting needs.
Note:- ( you should be sure use Administrator user of Windows, in order to have
permition change in register).
 Click CALL_DBA.
 In DBA.fmx click button start left to right

10- Change some parameter in (initorcl.ora). In \orant\database\

Add :
 Rollback_Segments=(RB0, RB1,RB2, RB3, RB4, RB5).

9- Copy File (CloseEngine.exe) into \WINNT\System32\

 1- Install Oracle.

 Select Ooracle8 Client Configuration screen choose Database Administrator.
 Now start Installation.

2- Rename folder (ORAINST). In \orant\

3- Install Developer.

 In Language screen choose English.

 In Oracle Installation Settings screen don't change any thing.
 In Developer 2000 Installation Options screen choose Deployment Installation.
 In Deployment Installation Options screen choose client Install.
 In Confirmation screen click Yes.
 Now start Installation.
 After Complete Installation Restart Computer.

4- Tnsnames.
 Oracle for Windows NT => Oracle Net8 Config.
 In First screen enter in field New Service Name (yemensoft).
 In scand screen choose TCP/IP (Internet Protocol).
 In third screen In Host Name filed Enter (Server_name).
 In fourth screen Database SID : ORCL.
 In fifth screen you can test service or no. click Next.
 In final screen click Finish.
 Go to \Orant\Net80\Admin copy file (TNSNAMES.ORA) .
 Paste this file to \Orant\NetWork\Admin.

5- Click Install.fmx from in( server\onyx\forms).

 Connect system/new passwprd@yemensoft.

 Enter in path (Server name), then Click Registry Setting .

6- Copy File (CloseEngine.exe) into \WINNT\System32\
