Objective: After performing the activity the students will be able to:
1. Make a personal and group vision for the future in relation to biodiversity;
2. Analyze the different ways that government, groups, and individuals are doing in order
to arrive at the envisioned future, and
3. Take personal action towards conserving biodiversity.

b. Enumerate and describe the different levels of biodiversity;
c. Appreciate biodiversity.

B.Students will do the following:
1. Group themselves into 5.
2. Each group will be given with a mystery pouch.
3. They are asked to touch, smell and describe what is inside the mystery pouch.
4. Select somebody from the group to report their findings.
Questions:
1. What is inside the pouch?
2. How did you able to identify the content of the pouch?
3. If you are to give a name to the objects in the pouch what is it?

Exploration
a. Enumerate why we do we need to identify the differences in things around us specially those who we
have in life.

Explanation
With the use of a powerpoint presentation the following will be presented:
a. Definition of Biodiversity
b. Enumerate the different Levels of Biodiversity

Sample activity – students will be asked to group things written on the screen. Give reasons for their
classification/grouping.
