Our world, our problem

Earth, the blue planet, 70% of it just water and the other 30% is land. In these 30%, inhabit
about1.5 million species of animals, and because of this, our planet is called “The Life’s
Planet”. But in the middle of so many species, one of them thinks that is superior, “the master
race”, the humans.

Humans have evolved, year after year, and they have invented / perfected techniques,
changed their habits and ways to life. But these changes, are not only things, these changes
are bringing a lot of harm to Earth.

To respond to our needs, we produce more and more, more that we can, and this way, we
emit a lot of toxic gases to the atmosphere. This phenomenon is called, Air Pollution. This
problem is very serious, and can be dangerous for health. To prevent that, we can ride a bike
to work and school, or travel by bus and other public transports, to reduce the gas emission by
cars and we can, too plant more trees, in order to increase oxygen production.

But the worst part is that the industrial residues are emitted to the water too, polluting it, and
causing another big problem, Water Pollution. It’s true, that we have a lot of water, but, we
just have 2% by freshwater and just 1,5% of them is drinkable, so we have to save water, we
can’t leave the taps on, and we have to take a shower faster, and principally we can’t throw
chemical products down the sink, because there are a lot of plumbing, that has not on water
treatment plant, and all of the dangerous products will go to the sea, polluting the water and
sicking the fishes.

We, humans, are the biggest problem, so, only we can get a solution to solve this.

We can start with small things, recycling, not leave rubbish on the floor, but the most
importantly, stop this consumerism that brings so many problems.

It’s our world, it’s our problem, so, we are the solution.
