We are a fifth year students from University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines
(USTP) who are currently pursuing our thesis in partial fulfillment to the requirements in the
degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. The thesis is entitled, “Hazard Identification
and Assessment on Safety Practices on Vertical Structures in Cagayan de Oro Construction Firms”,
this study intends to determine the various physical hazards and risk as well as the adopted
safety practices in small-scale, medium-scale, and large –scale construction projects.

We are in the process of gathering data through survey that will be used in our study. Regarding
this issue, we humbly request for the list of on-going construction of schools here in Cagayan de
Oro.
