2. A description of the categorization

The system of categorization is based on how relevant it is to the topic.

The category is divided into three parts. There are category A, B and C.

Category A contains the most relevant references. There are 23 sources

from books. The criterias of category A are the biography, business biography,

inspirational and motivational books. The reason is those references give an

illustration and example about the real books which will be made then. In

addition, they become references in brainstorming the ideas which is the most

important in making the product.

Next, category B contains three extension materials. The sources are from

the books. The criteria of category B are the books which explain the elements

of a business biography book. Besides that, the reference about tips on writing

a biography book is included in this category. The reason is the articles support

the content and help the writing of a book in a good way.

The last category, C contains four broader materials. The references are

not too specific or related to the topic. However, they support the making of a

book. The criteria of category C is a book about photoshop and tipografi. They

are helpful in designing the layout of the book.

The conclusion is the category should be written based on the relevance.

The more relevant one will be the category A. However, the references who

are less relevant will be in category C.

3. Annotation

Bibliographic entry Allen, Frederick. (2015). Secret formula: The inside

story of how Coca Cola became the best-known
brand in the world. New York, NY: Open Road
Media.
Summary of book It took two men to invent Coca-Cola, John Stith

Pemberton as the father of Coca-Cola and Frank Mason

Robinson as the father of the idea of Coca-Cola. Kola was

the generally accepted spelling and shorthand name for a

species of tree, Kola acuminata, found in West

Africa. The sales of Coca-Cola fell off and its ads abruptly

disappeared when Pemberton got a painful inflammation

of the stomach and made him left the company. However,

Robinson stayed and believed Coca-Cola was a good

product. In the spring of 1887, Robinson helped bring

Coca-Cola back to life by passing out “sampling” tickets

around Atlanta. In 1982 the company introduced its low-

calorie sugar-free soft drink Diet Coke (originally named

Diet Coca-Cola). For all the crudeness of Coca-

Cola’s operations, however, sales continued to rise.

Analysis: comment The book tells too much detail which is unnecessary.

Bibliographic entry Knight, P.(2016). Shoe Dog : A memoir by the creator

of Nike. New York, NY: Scribner.
Summary of book Firstly, Phil Knight went on an international trip,

where Japan was the end goal and borrowed $1000 from

his father, which he used to start his shoe career selling

imported Japanese shoes from the company Onitsuka,

not by manufacturing his own. As time go by, many

factors such as slow shipments and new shoes design

forced him to establish Nike in 1960s. The company

started with just $8000 in sales in their first year. It kept

growing with good reputation. However, finances

contantly became a difficulty for Nike. Phil solved this

problem by finding a large Japanese trading company

who support them financially. The team of Nike also

worked hard to pass the problem. With the years, Nike

overtook Adidas and became the role model in

sustainable, environmental friendly production of shoes.

Analysis: comment The book is very inspiring and easy to understand.

It gives a lot of information clearly.

a small house, build an even smaller burger

joint and dream big dreams. On October 22, 1948, the

Snyders opened their first burger joint across the street

from their house on Garvey Avenue. It was Harry who

came up with the new venture’s name IN-N-OUT

HAMBURGERS and the couple erected a red neon

sign with elongated corners, white block lettering,

and stripes. The sign, pitched by the side of the road,

broadcast In-N-Out’s early motto: “NO DELAY.”.
