Sir:

Our School had organized Drum and Lyre Corps for our students who are very much
interested to learn and play different musical instruments. This will not only to improve their musical
skills, but will also provide them worthwhile activity that will help them stay away from different vices
rampant anywhere.
At present, there are 45 students in our band, but some of them cannot afford to buy any of
the musical instruments. Some of them had to borrow or rent every time there is a practice or a
show. The school had already extended its funds to provide bass drums and triple marching drums
yet there are still others who cannot provide instruments on their own specially lyre xylophones.
It is on this premise that we are appealing for your support. A donation of any musical
instrument (lyre xylophone/cymbals /bugle /quadruple drum) coming from your generous heart
would simply bring music to every soul on earth alive and well to our school.
Thank you and God bless!
