Final Year Project – Rules and Regulation

 All final year undergraduate students are mandatory to take FYP as a partial fulfilment in
awarding Bachelor Degree in BS IT, SW, EL & TC, from Institute of Information and
Communication Technology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Read the following rules and
regulations clearly before submitting the proposal.

Rules for Students

Following are the basic rules and regulation that each student group needs to follow.

• Each Student is required to work either in a group or individually.

• Maximum of ONLY TWO (02) students are allowed in a group.
• Decide a research/project topic, preferably based on your area of interest and expertise.
• Each student is encouraged to propose some research topics and work on research based
project.
• Students must register the topics they had chosen by filling the Final Year Project
Proposal Form and signed by supervisor and submitted to the Project Coordinator
• Make one copy for supervisor and one copy for own reference.
• Plan the work properly and prepare work schedule for one year with the guidance of the
supervisors.
• Students must follow strictly to the work schedule so that the project can be completed
within stipulated the time frame.
• Keep record on progress work using a logbook and ensure the supervisor to endorse the
meeting form.
• Each student must meet his/her supervisor regularly at least once a month so that the
progress of their works can be monitored closely.
• Submit the Project Thesis by the end of semester 8 to supervisor and examiners.
• Students are required to prepare project presentation and Show their working project
during Presentation/Viva.
• Students are encouraged to do their experimental work during semester break in order to
avoid congestion and overburdening at the end of semester.
• Ensure, there are no grammatical errors in the Thesis, before submitting to respective
supervisors.
• It is the responsibility of Supervisor to Check and correct all preliminary mistakes /
formatting issues in the thesis, before submitting the final hardbound thesis.
• Students are strictly notified that they are NOT Allowed to COPY or PURCHASE the
project from the market and present it as their own.
• Students are NOT Allowed to use previously made project and claim it as their own.
• If previous project work is being used and extended, then the supervisor must be
informed and proper credit with reference to previous work, must be given. In such case,
the extended version should have substantial contribution as compared to previous
project work.
• Students are NOT Allowed to choose a topic proposed by one Supervisor, and switch to
another supervisor with same topic, without the prior consent of the original supervisor.

2. Scope, Introduction and Background of the Project

Scope:
In the modern era of technology, we humans are creating new technologies to make life better
and easier. These technologies are used in every industry. Al-sehhat is a web-based application
for medical and pharmacy field by our E-clinic website user can find any specialist doctor
nearby them and they can also make an online paid appointment with the doctors. we have
invented a paid membership on our website for patients where they can get 24/7 free Live help
with duty doctors who can help them in emergency cases and these doctor will earn money by
live helping of patients and we also added a E-Medical store where the patient can buy easily
and get delivery at home.

Introduction:
This is a web-based project which is created to make life better of us in the medical field. In
this system, we will introduce some new online medical platform where the patient can easily
find out the best specialist doctor near-by them. So the patient has to visit on the website to
find the doctor nearby and they have to select the requirements like Catagory of doctors and
city, then the result will show in the list of doctors with rating and some details about the
doctors, then the patient should select a doctor and make a paid appointment online with
softcopy of details of appointment. Doctors should make accounts on our website and add
payment details so we will transfer the appointment fees after taking off 8% commission.
Patients should make easy steps accounts where Doctors update their medicines, checkup
details and document it's better to understand. we are introducing a membership where patients
can get lots of benefits, diet plans, and 24/7 Live duty doctors available for help in emergency
cases. these duty doctors will be paid by our website And A E-medical store which is an online
medical store and health accessories products with delivery services.

products and all of these things related to medical field in one platform (website). So
this is become a very unique, helpful and most useful project which will help our
environment.
