On Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at approximately 1:30 pm, officers responded to the area of Holly and
Chesapeake Drive, Shady Side, Maryland for recovered human remains. Through recent DNA testing the remains
were identified as Megan Leah Tilman. Ms. Tilman had been reported missing to the Annapolis City Police
Department on November 1, 2017. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner concluded the human remains of Ms.
Tilman displayed apparent trauma with the manner being homicide.

The Anne Arundel County Police is offering a REWARD of up to $10,000.00 for information
leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of Megan Leah Tilman.

As this is a very active investigation, the Anne Arundel County Police are urging anyone with information
