SUBJECT : Spot Report re: Mauling, Hacking and Stabbing Incident

1. Reference:
a. Radio Message with Cite Number: R9C-0404-41.
2. On our about 11:50 o’clock in the evening of December 3, 2021, at Panday Pira St.
Barangay 80 Zone 9, Tondo, Manila, one Jose y Manalo of legal age and a resident of said
place was mauled, hacked but missed by his live-in partner identified as Elize y Santiago, 30
years old, resident of Moriones St. Barangay 123, Tondo, Manila, temporarily residing at said
place with the use of a balisong.
3. Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect, while under the influence of intoxicating
liquor, arrived home and with no apparent provocation mauled, then hacked the victim but
missed. Then and there, the victim ran towards the nearby house of his relative identified as
Virgelio y Rumpas and asked for assistance and subsequently reported the incident to
Manila Police Station 2, Tondo, Manila. Suspect went to the house of Virgelio Rumpas which
resulted in a heated argument between the suspect and the daughter of Virgelio Rumpas
identified as Analyn y Rumpas. During their heated altercation, suspect punched then
hacked Analyn Rumpas hitting on the right Hand resulting Analyn Rumpas stumbled to the
ground unconsciously. Virgelio Rumpas, who saw the incident, took a bladed weapon and
stabbed Elize Santiago several times. Analyn Rumpas and Elize Santiago were brought by
the responding PNP Team to Tondo Medical Center for medical treatment while Virgelio
Rumpas was arrested and subsequently detained at Manila Police Station detention cell
pending filing of appropriate charges in court.
