Police Investigate Suspicious Death and

Missing Person

On 8-22-10 at about 1:13 PM officers of the Independence Police Department were called to the 18500
block of Blackhawk Trail on a death investigation. The body of Ronnie D. Ashworth, 63 YOA, was found in
the home. Police are calling the death suspicious.

Ashworth's wife, Catherine A. Ashworth, 50 is missing and may be endangered. Catherine is described as a
white female, brown hair, brown eyes, 5'06"/150 lbs. Her Black 2002 Ford Mustang bearing Missouri license
WA6D8H is also missing.
