A.

Description of the Business

Loloy’s Poultry and Broiler Eggs is a Poultry farm business. This business was

actually inherited from my Grandparents which is in our terminology a “take-over”,

where as I acquired this as an asset. The business form of this is actually a partnership

with supermarkets because our revenue is centralized in them because Loloy’s Poultry

and Broiler Eggs has proven time and time again that we are 100% secure with the

products that we produce. Our products are Broiler Chicken and Eggs. Our customers are

mainly supermarkets and restaurants whose target customers don’t eat pork. wherein they

sell our products but we also sell to those customers who buy through us directly wherein

they get less the price and more of the quality since its fresh from the nest.

B. Products/Services

Our products are mainly Broiler Chicken and Broiler Eggs and as for our services we

deliver to supermarkets and as well to our costumers who have subscribed to our weekly

egg deliveries directly at their houses given that they have specified their address in our

logbook. The main reason why the costumers keep coming back at our doors are the

quality and service since we have trained professionals for butchers, we have skilled

scientists at our labs, expert delivery men, top notch disciplined attitudes towards

costumers, but most importantly is the price because it is very affordable. But our cost of

business is high, because our business is highly future oriented. The primary cost of our

business is given below:

We also provide some additional facility to ours customers and consumers that are not

provided by other suppliers:

 We reached our product (chickens & eggs) to the customers by our own transportation

with a low transportation cost.

 If the customers identify any dreadful products we always make it change.

 Processed meat are also supply if customer feel need.

 We also supply product by credit to a limited amount.

Poultry business is full with competitors. But there have a great prospect of succeed, beca

use most of the suppliers are not able to adequately supply the product.

C. Marketing Plan

We are selling High quality poultry products fresh form the nest. In-order to reach our

target markets we had to innovate by delivering our products directly at their doors and

that’s called quality service right there.

a.) Product Strategies:

Our products are packaged in a cellophane that is engineered in a way that it dissolves

in water completely edible and safe, you can throw it directly in the freezer and when you

thaw the product it will completely dissolve leaving the chicken only. Our product line
reaches the neighboring cities as well as the municipalities of Zamboanga Del Sur but our

delivery line will only be in the city. As of now our product development team has come

up with an idea that exotic chickens will be up for sale but that is still in development.

The position that we have maintained is being the no.1 Poultry Farm in Zamboanga Del

Sur and we will make it stay like that.

b.) Pricing Strategies

Our Pricing is the most important factor for this business to compete with competitors

to sustain in the market. Our pricing method is simple. We only sale product with

a limited profit that means our sales price is our cost plus limited profit. We also

provide price discount on a bulk amount of product. We also offer different types of price and

product discount in different types of festival. Our customers have a loyalty card wherein

they get discounts if they continue to purchase from us which competes with competitors.

The costumers are willing to pay the price because of the quality, top notch service, and the

most crucial reason is our affordable price. Our credit policies is activated at the end of the

month in which if they have subscribed to our egg delivery line in which we delivery weekly.

Our way of managing our business insulates price competition. We highly compete with

quality and service.

c.) Promotional Strategies

Our target markets are supermarkets, restaurants wherein they specialize in chicken and

eggs, and to those customers who wants their eggs to be delivered right at their doors. In

order for us to reach our target markets we had to improvise by being more efficient and fast.

In order for them to buy our product we have come up with a saying “We have eggs” simple

yet direct. The cost was only around PHP 20,000,00 and the timetable was 1 month.

D. Location
Barangay Bulatok, Purok Kapayas, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. I inherited it

from my Grandparents. The property is approximately 14 hectares of land, which half

of it has been used. It is a good location since it is just a 15 minute drive from the city

where most of our costumers are and the property is private so the chickens wont be

agitated by noise pollution.
