I. Introduction

This paper focuses on the importance of energy conservation by considering the loads of a

class room of an educational institution and considering the energy consumed by the present

loads and recommending energy efficient appliances and an efficient yet simple sensor based

model to reduce the energy consumption and comparing the results.

Community service ideas can include a simple one-off act or an outgoing commitment to a

project or organization. As an individual, there are lots of things you can do, starting with not

littering or polluting. Dispose of everything properly and even better, reduce your waste so that

there is less to return to the landfill.

Think before assuming that all human activities are either necessary of have to be done as

they currently are-think about a cleaner future and what it would take to get as there .

Energy conservation is important because shortage of energy may cause some industrial

changes and problems regarding to the sources on how we can find some alternative on that

specific type of energy needed. It is not just all about keeping the environment clean and safe

but rather also making the nature healthy and making it not vulnerable to harm .

An example of this is to reduce the usage of electricity in some instances like limiting the

time of use of the electronic devices on charge and the appliances.

I. Body

A.) Target Market Identification

 Future generation users

 Students and possible volunteers

 Lifestyle of the people

 Indigenous or people in the Rural community

B.) Market Needs

 Eco-friendly alternative materials

 Biodegradable instead of plastics and styrofoam materials

 Biogas and bio-fuels

 Energy saving fluorescent bulbs

C.) Forms of Integrated Marketing Communications in use

 Video and social media advertisement

 Broadcast media commercials and announcements

d.) Analysis of case

 Purpose

- To inform and educate citizens some protocols on how to conserve energy for future

uses
- To achieve the benefits to lessen the climate change

- To conserve with an inexpensive cost with an overwhelming result for people that does

not have the money to pay big to save energy

- For people living away from the industries to be reached by the energy

 Problem Statement

- Organizations that will handle the activities may not have been done consistently

- People that cannot participate due to insufficient financial fund and location may ignore

the activities to be done.

e.) Key Issues or Goals

 Protect Environment, conserve natural resources, keep beauty of the planet and create

a conducive environment to live in for the future generation .

 Conservation’s goals include protecting species from extinction, maintaining and

restoring habitats, enhancing ecosystem services and protecting biological diversity.

 It is also includes conserve habitat, preventing deforestation, halting species extinction,

reducing overfishing, and mitigating climate change.

f.) Recommendations

 Rain Harvesting

-It is a technique of collection and storage of rain water into natural reservoirs or tanks,

or the infiltration of surface water into subsurface aquifers (before it is lost as surface

runoff).

-The simplest rainwater harvesting systems are non-pressurized systems, such as rain

barrels, where the pipes run form the rain gutters into a tank. Known as “Dry systems”,

those structures do not hold any water in the pipes after it stops raining and do not create

breeding grounds for mosquitoes and other insects.

*Benefits

-Main one is that it is a sustainable water management practice that can be implemented

by anyone on many different levels, from a simple rain barrel to a comprehensive rain

water harvesting system that integrates with an irrigation system or household plumbing.

-Rain water harvesting can be a great educational tool to get people to recognize their

individual or household water usage.

-It helps utilities reduce peak demands during summer months, saving treated water for

more important and appropriate water uses.

 Use of Biogas and Biofuels

-Biogas is the gaseous emission from anaerobic degradation of organic matter (from

plants or animals) by a consortium of bacteria.

-Biofuels are designed to replace gasoline, diesel, fuel, and coal, which are called “fossil

fuels” because they are made from animals and plants that died millions of years ago. It

made mostly from plants that had just been harvested .

 Benefits

-It’s a clean & renewable energy source

-It reduces soil & water pollution

-Prevents health problems & biodiversity loss

-Generates organic fertilizer

-It’s a simple and Low-cost technology that encourages a circular economy

III. Summary

In conclusion, future generation users, students and possible volunteers, lifestyle

of the people, Indigenous or people in the Rural community are the people who is the target

beneficiaries because they are also the ones who will use and be part of the energy consumers.
Different forms of IMC include video and social media advertisement and broadcast media

commercials and announcements. These help advertise and promote protocols on conserving

energy.

Protecting the environment, conserving natural resources, keeping beauty of the

planet and create a conducive environment to live in for the future generation is one of the

main key goals of the project.

Rain Harvesting may be a temporary or can be a permanent alternative ways

aside from the common ways to conserve hydrothermal energy that rural community uses it is

an easy way that anyone with or without financial needs can do to save energy for themselves.

Using Biogas and Biofuels is also an alternative source of energy since these are

made of burning fossil fuels and can give more energy power than other non-renewable types

of energy source.
