INT – INTERROGATION ROOM (MAC SUITE) – DARK

ALEX
So, you’ve been accused of stealing a £200,000 from a museum.
We have reason to believe you are playing a huge part in this
heist.

KRYSTIAN
Okay, let me get this straight. It wasn’t an expensive
diamond, it was a plastic diamond from a Happy Meal from 2008.

ALEX
And how did you obtain this?

KRYSTIAN
Somebody left their table unsupervised, I sprung into action
and grabbed the diamond. I would’ve gotten away with it if
that dog walker didn’t snitch!

ALEX
Well! Do you see these CCTV monitors behind me on our eBay-
bought Macs?

KRYSTIAN
eBay?

ALEX
Okay you got me, I got it at Maplin’s before it shut in 2018.

KRYSTIAN
Okay, now give me my money.

ALEX
No, you listen to me boy! I have the money, you have the
diamond. I WILL return the money AND that diamond to
McDonald’s before sun fall!

KRYSTIAN
I think you’re lying. YOU don’t have the money.

ALEX
How on EARTH would you know that?

KRYSTIAN
Hm?

ALEX
How on EARTH would you know that?
 KRYSTIAN
Because I have the money.

ALEX
Wait what?

KRYSTIAN
Because I have the money.

ALEX
So, you’re telling me that you have the money with you RIGHT
NOW?

KRYSTIAN
Yes. That IS what I said.

ALEX
WELL, LET’S DO A CHASE SCENE AND REALLY EXTEND THIS SHORT
FILM!

SCENE 2 – INT – STILL INTERROGATION ROOM – DARK.

KRYSTIAN AND ALEX are pretend fighting.

ALEX
GIVE ME THE DIAMOND!

KRYSTIAN
NEVERRRR!

ALEX
WHAT?

KRYSTIAN
NEVERRRRR!

ALEX
THAT’S IT!
YOU HAVE STOLEN A WORTHLESS MCDONALD’S TOY, YOU HAVE STOLEN
THE MONEY!

KRYSTIAN
You lied.

ALEX
YOU ALSO HAVE ATTEMPTED TO STEAL MY PUPPIES!

KRYSTIAN
YOU STILL LIED!
 ALEX
FAIR ENOUGH.

KRYSTIAN
Annnddd. Cut!

ALEX
Did you get that?

KRYSTIAN
Every second. #DiamondsForever

ALEX
No, never say that again!

KRYSTIAN
Okay, let’s upload this to YouTube and get sick views!

ALEX
Okay, I’ma go get some water.

KRYSTIAN
Okay!

They’d both walk to the door, ALEX walks down the corridor.
KRYSTIAN watches him walk down the corridor and checks to see
if anybody is watching.

KRYSTIAN would walk back to the interrogation room, reach into

his bag and produce a real diamond from it.

KRYSTIAN
Ha! It actually worked!
