INDUSTRIAL CERTIFICATE

ABSTRACT
We reported at the training center GSRTC WORKSHOP VADODARA on 18/6/2019 to
17/10/2019. Our first week went by in moving around in the workshop campus looking for
different section and observing the work done at different place. we mat the GM of the workshop
and he guided as about the rules & regulations to be followed in the workshop. He also asked as t
work safely and note to heart ourselves while working. we wear asked to work in a group and
maintain discipline in the workshop timing wear from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm to 4:00
pm.

The staffs working in the workshop was very cooperative and kind to us and helped us in
all possible ways. The problem faced has that we had theoretical knowledge and they worked
practically. The question asked by us sometimes was difficult to be answered by them due to
their only practical knowledge. They used their common language to name different parts and
tools which was tough to understand and compare it with things learned by us in the previous
semester.

At the workshop, we were never asked to work forcefully, but when we used to work, they
requested us not to leave the section until the work is completed. There were many sections in
the work shop so we used to change the section every week.
 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I thanks to a great many people who helped and guided me during the industrial training. I
thank my profound gratitude to our project guide, lecturer Mr. NIRAV PATEL to keep industrial
training work and guided us all along till the completion by providing all the necessary

(A) History of the GSRTC

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation is known as GSRTC. It

is a Govt. State Transport Undertaking of Gujarat for passengers
facilitating with Road Public Transport in moffusil / City Services.
GSRTC operates within the state of Gujarat, India and
neighboring states.It has a workforce of 40,000. Gujarat State
Road Transport Corporation is known as GSRTC. It is a Govt.

Preventive maintenance of vehicle

 In the GSRTC workshop, if the bus damage
is a big job then the bus comes for repair.
 After the taking the new bus GSRTC
workshop 1 year later comes for reparation.

Usage: Because of the wide variety of tools used in the labs, there will
be high decibel levels at times, it is advisable to protect your hearing
by using ear plugs during those times.

Working principle of lathe Machine.

Working principle: The lathe is machine tool which holds the work piece between two rigid and strong
supports called centers or in a Chuck or face plate which revolves. The cutting tool is rigidly held and
supported in a tool post which is fed against the revolving work.

What is an air compressor ?

And air compressor is a device that convert power (using an electric motor, diesel or gasoline
engine Exeter) into potential energy stored in pressurized air ( I.M. compressed air ) by one of several
methods and a air compressor force more and more intu a storage tank, increasing the pressure.

How air compressor work ?

The inlet sucks air in for the piston to compress. the compressed air is then released through the
discharge valve. In cretine air compressor models The pressure produced with is produce with Rotating
impellers.

Major service in vehicle
1. Front axle service

 If the drum in interested send it to the
service and repair it.
 Cut to the machine shop if the hub donor is
bad.
 Break booster leakage if new.
 Changing if a Track-rod band or and seal is
the answer.
 If the spring is broken then put new ones.
 Break the Accusting rechar if bad.
 Cotter pin and lock pin is damage if new.
 Front axle in Innar and outer bearing
damaged it new.
 Distance pic bad if new.
2) Rear axle service

 If the drum is interested, send it to the service and

repair it.
 Put new ones if the cims are broken.

 Rear axle in Innar and outer bearing damage it new.

 Cut to the machine shop if the hub donor is bad.

 Break booster leakage if new.

Differential sarvice

 If the donor of the craon is spoiled, add new and
change.
 Side net is bad if new.

 New bearing is interested if the bearing is mounted.

 If the pinion is damage,add a new one.

 Side caps are bad if new ones.

 Make oil change if it is above fifty thousand

kilometer.

 The Clutch release shaft is interested if new.
 Check in upper case and repair the fold.
 If the bearing is broken or damaged, insert a

new one.
 To change if the donor of any gear is broken.

 Change fork gear in swift if it is broken or bad.

Changing if the piston is mounted or if the pit is lying down.

 If the connecting rod is damaged, add a new one.

 If the shaft is convos or tight , get cut.
 The engine block in should be repaired if there is an answer or injury.
 Why change if there is a bed or crab in the snake.
 Repair the valve in the engine head if it is bad.

Different part service in GSRTC

1) electric work in GSRTC

 Accept the battery main toff. Replace Closed.

 Check the battery voltage and remove the battery in
nursery.
 Check the sleeve of battery cunning wire, mains wire,
attire, update wire, check sleeve for wiring harness,
replace as needed, check wiring joint insulated.
 Check the fuse box for the fuse box and Mac changes
needed.
 Verifying the complete wiring . Is there a shot circuit?
Check it out general chat long typing where needed.
 All vehicle lights, headlights , parking light , tail light, brake
light, side signals ,wiper motor, Hone, switch as well as
indicators to be checked and replaced If needed.
 Turning on the light of of the back boot route of the Auger
check the lugs , open wiring underneath the dose body.
 The starter motor needle test seems to require new wiping
all government test/new interest.
 Headlight Again setting
 Replace the alternator as well as the the batteries, brushes
to provide a better service.
 2)Body work in GSRTC

 Hi check out all the dug boats. Before pushing the converse ,it is nursery to
simply tug body again and reposition it with a hem.
 If you need to place write the compound on the vour point, install the
silitone sealer.
 Tightening nut and bolt Shrimp laminate.
 Insulated electrical vase, window racks, ventilation glass repair diameter.
 Repair required for checking the conductor sheet
 Pass the driver as well as the the passenger door iron, Jaime , as needed.
 Conductor check, replace as needed.(Body feer).
 Driver cabin flooring, aegon bonnet cash bed batteries box check lamp.I
Repaired as needed.
 Place the set of acquired information separately.

3)Paint work in GSRTC

 Paint the exterior of the vehicle according to the rules of
incorporation. The colour scheme according to this service
scheme colour scheme.
 4) Tyre fitting service in GSRTC
 Testing wheel dishes with trire opened black paint to paint as
replacement.
 Check the tyre to replace if there is a cam.
 Will Element.
 Matching the tire on the back.
 Checking jacks warking condition.

5) Suspension service in GSRTC

 To replace all the is spring coat, happiness pins, rubber pads, as
needed. Also open in in all women, doing the badding, rimming
the rim. U loss of sping , check eye bolt, loose replacement if if
needed.
 Checking the oil leakage form the shock absorber. Alignment
leakage 0:31, mounting Rubber seems to you need happy
placement.
 6) Air suspension service in GSRTC

 Open piston , cleaning pipe, vacuum pipe for twist heat.

 Balance shade pin.
 All locks must be fitted with nut pin.
 Sparry lustic Bush, Hager Plate check replaced as needed.
 Agar check wheel play a if needs.
 The rear wheel well change as needed to check the open break liner.
 Check the hub opened wheel bearing to fit.
 To fit the break ratcher, to keep the automatic brake setting system in place.
 Replace he diagram in the brake chamber for the first third year as well as
every three years.
 To check the foundation of the bake plate, replace the brake plate as
required.
 Checking handbrake walking Condition, Repairing As you need.
7) clutch and Transmission service in
GSRTC
 clutch plate pressure plate check and replace clutch release bearing if
possible.
 Check the surface of the flywheel and change if it seems to go away.
 Check the tether of The flywheel ring and replace it if needed.
 Gearbox primary and mainshaft bearing check as well as all lock bolt check
to tighten and clear gearbox breather.
 Check gear shift cable leakage. And switch to liver oil joint if you feel like
playing and fit the gear change liver cover.
 Check the propeller shaft alignment and adjust it if needed.
 Replacing the pinion oil seal.

8) steering box sarvice in GSRTC

 Check the leakage of the steering box. Repairing as needed.
 Check the steering box as well as the the mounting bolt of the steering.
 Testing rubber pipes for testing leakage and fitness.
 9) Engine service in GSRTC
 Check the engine condition and Make necessary repairs if necessary to
overhall the toe.
 Foundation testing of the engine. If nursery tying changing.
 Replace the radiator fray, open the water pump.
 Checking the engine compressor.
 He plays the thermostat if necessary.
 Air filter needs to be cleaned and replaced if needed.
 To open the injector service. Setting the appropriate pressure to fit.
 To check the diesel filter as well as waster the water pump form the water
Seater.
 Perform vehicle speed rules. Setting idle speed.
 Do a science check and repair if needed.
