REFLECTION
ATHARVA SALITRI:
It has been a wonderful journey
being a part of Eumind 2019-
20.
I have learnt many new things
about our topic of Human
Trafficking and also through this
fabulous opportunity, I have
enhanced many of my skills.
I have enhanced my speaking
skills, teamwork, positive spirit
and my knowledge about
Human Trafficking and ways to
tackle it.
RIA PATIL:
Human trafficking is an
extremely sensitive topic
which we cannot afford to
joke about. Just the fact
that I was a part of a team
that spread awareness of
this crime gives me
immense pleasure. My
biggest take - away from
this topic have to be the
statistics. I have seen
enormous numbers and
realized how serious a
problem this is. This programme also helped build my confidence and
team skills. I hope I am able to pass on the knowledge I have gained on
this subject to others, and make a difference, no matter how small.
SATEJ PRABHUGHATE:
Human rights have been an issue
that has plagued many parts of the
world and affects gender
populations disproportionately
from one another. After working
for the Humans Not For Sale
project, I have realised how
ignorant and indifferent many are
to this issue in our nation.
NISHIKA KORANNE
Human trafficking is the biggest concern of the hour. Rights of thousands
of people are being violated. The vulnerable younger population
becomes the major victim and are left helpless. They lose their purpose
of living.
This EUMIND project was like a reality check. I came across many
human trafficking cases while researching and was grief-stricken. This
project helped me understand the gravity of this situation and helped me
mould my opinion regarding the issue. Human trafficking is an area of
concern and is not a topic to joke about.
This project has loaded me with knowledge which taught me that every
human’s life must be respected and their purpose of living must not be
snatched away from them.
GURMAN SINGH
Human Rights are still being violated in this modern world. Millions, who silently bear
the pain and have no one to turn to for help are still being held captive. Human
Trafficking is a topic which still not a lot of people know about. It is indeed a major
issue worldwide.
During my time in EUMIND, I was introduced to tons of things that were happening
around the world, things which need to be talked about, things which need to be
dealt with. I got to know about a topic in-depth, a topic which I honestly was very
ignorant about.
The biggest thing that I have learnt from this project is that millions of voices need to
be heard. This project was itself a baby-step towards eradicating and spreading
awareness about Human Trafficking and how from young children to old people are
being held in conditions which I can never even think about.
KRISSH NAIR
"People were created to be loved. Things were created to be used. The
reason why the world is in chaos is because things are being loved and
people are being used.”
I am a privileged student who has got the opportunity to not only become
aware but also work on this heart touching topic which is piercing the
world at the phase of existence. This EUMIND project has stocked my
bag of knowledge with a crisis topic the planet is facing right now.
This heart pinching topic has made me more aware about the mishaps
happening in the world. It was a very mind enriching, informative and
edifying experience. I both enjoyed and learned various things during
this EUMIND PROJECT.
