The Ørsted Graduate Programme

When can I apply?


The graduate job adverts will be online from 3 December until 13 January 2020. 

How many jobs can I apply for?


Please only apply for those you find relevant to ensure that you’ll be considered for the
job.

What does the recruitment process entail?

● Deadline for applications is on 13 January 2020 (at 22:00 CET).


● Selected candidates will be invited to do a video case.
● Selected candidates will be invited for a Skype interview and sent a logical test.
The interviews will be conducted in the period 6-12 February 2020.
● Selected candidates will be invited for the Assessment Day which takes place on
27 February 2020.
The deadlines look slightly different for the graduate position in Taiwan, and selected
candidates will receive further information.

Will I get feedback on my application?


Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity to give individual feedback to all
candidates who apply for our Graduate Programme.

However, if you’re invited to the Skype interview, you’ll be given oral feedback if you
aren’t selected to proceed to the next step.

What’s the salary level?


You’ll receive information about the salary level at the Assessment Day.

When will I know if I get the position?


It’s important for us to keep you informed throughout the entire recruitment process,
and we’ll contact you no later than 14 days after the Assessment Day to let you know
if you got the position or not. If you didn’t get the position, we’d like to encourage you

I don’t have a work permit for the country in which I’m applying. Will Ørsted help?
If you’re the right candidate, we’ll help you get your work permit.

How much work experience am I allowed to have?


A maximum one year of relevant work experience after finishing your degree.

I have a PhD. Can I apply?


Yes. You’re welcome to apply if you’re studying for a PhD or have recently completed a
PhD.

When does the Graduate Programme start?


First day of work at Ørsted will be on 1 September 2020.

I won’t hand my thesis in before 1 September 2020. Can I still apply?


No. It’s vital that you’ve handed in your thesis before you start at Ørsted. Sign up via
our JobAgent to get information about other jobs, and when we post for graduates in
2021.

If I apply, when will I hear more?


You’ll receive more information no later than on Friday, 24 January 2020.

Will I get my travel expenses refunded?


If you’re travelling from abroad  to attend the Assessment Day, Ørsted will reimburse
your travel expenses.
