A) Contest Period
01 January 2020 – 31 March 2020.

B) Eligibility
1. Personal Sales: Y1Y2 Agents.
- Y1 Agent: Contracted from 1 January – 31 March 2020 Only.
- Y2 Agent: Contracted in 2019 Only.
2. Direct Unit: Recruitment by Agency Leaders.

C) Requirements
1. The requirements for this contest are as follows:

2. All PAMB/PBTB New Business eSub cases and all PAMB/PBTB eSub production must be submitted on or
after 1 January 2020 and captured within the qualifying period.
2.1. For case count requirements, endorsements will not be counted.
2.2. For TPC requirements, all endorsements will be counted as eSub.

3. Treatment for Y1Y2 Agents:


3.1. Y1 Agents need to be validated to participate in this contest (Contracted from 1 January – 31 March 2020).
3.2. Y2 agents do not need to be validated to participate in this contest.
3.3. Y1Y2 agents must use eSub production to participate in this contest.
3.4. Rejoined Agents cannot participate in this contest.

4. Treatment for Direct Unit Requirement:


4.1. Rejoined Agents and immediate family, i.e. spouse, children, parents and siblings cannot be counted.

5. Treatment for eSub:
5.1. Counted:
5.1.1. New Business cases that are submitted via PRUway plus / PruBSN mobility (“eSub platform”).
5.1.2. New Business cases that are not available on the eSub platform.
5.2. NOT Counted:
5.2.1. New Business cases that are available on the eSub platform but were not submitted via the eSub
platform.

6. Treatment for Reward:


6.1. This is strictly for qualifiers participation ONLY.
6.2. Each qualifier can qualify for a maximum of one reward only 1 (One) 3D2N Convention in Langkawi.
6.3. Qualify can qualify under BOTH category (TPC or Case Count)
6.4. In the event of a tie (Cases category), the agent with the highest production (TPC) during the qualifying
period will be recognized as the winner
6.5. In the event of a tie (TPC catergory), the agent with the highest NB eSub cases during the qualifying period
will be recognized as the winner.
6.6. The reward is inclusive of convention package, & hotel accommodation ONLY.
6.7. There will be strictly no encashment for the reward.
6.8. The reward is not transferable, exchangeable or refundable for any other benefits in kind.

7. There will strictly be no appeals for this contest.

D) Case Count
1. Minimum case size for all New Business eSub is 1,800 Life API / ACI and will be counted as 1.0 case.
1.1. Exception: PRUlady, PRUcancer X, PruBSN WarisanPlus and PruBSN AnugerahPlus with case size below
1,800 Life API / ACI will be counted as 0.5 cases.
2. The total number of cases will be rounded down, e.g. 1.5 cases will be counted as 1 case.
3. All Single Premium / Contribution Products, PSA and Cash Builder will not be counted.
3.1. Exception: PRUwealth PRUallocator, PruBSN Warisan Saver, PruBSN Warisan Plus Allocator, Platinum
Saver, and Anugerah Medic Allocator will be counted as 100% Life.

E) Production Credit
1. TPC = A (Conventional Life + Takaful Life) + B (Credit Points)

2. A (Conventional Life + Takaful Life)


2.1. Consists of 100% count for all Conventional Life and Takaful Life Premiums / Contributions.
2.2. Exception: PRUwealth PRUallocator, PruBSN Warisan Saver, Platinum Saver, Anugerah Medic Allocator
and PruBSN Aspirasi (PUA) will be counted as 100% in (A).

3. B (Credit Points)
3.1. Consists of 10% count for Single Premium / Contribution Products, 10% PSA and 10% Cash Builder.
3.1.1. All other PSA products not mentioned in 2.2 will be counted at 10%.
3.1.2. Unit Trust, Group Insurance and Mortgage (MRTA) production will not be counted.
3.2. (B) is subject to a maximum of 25% of (A).

Rising MDRT Convention Definitions

A) Y1Y2 Agents
Y1 Agents: Agents who are contracted in 2020.
Y2 Agents: Agent who are contracted in 2019.

B) Validated New Agent


1. A Validated New Agents fulfills the following requirements:
1.1. New Agents contract in 2020 must capture 1 nett New Business eSub case within “1+1” months,
with “month 1” being the month of contract, and “+1 month” being the subsequent month.
1.2. Minimum New Business eSub case size is 1,800 Life API/ACI.
1.2.1. Exception: PRUlady, PRUcancer X, PruBSN WarisanPlus and PruBSN AnugerahPlus with
case size below 1,800 Life API / ACI will be counted as 0.5 cases.

General Provisions

1. Treatment of SST
1.1. SST payment amounts will not be counted as part of production, or for persistency calculations.

2. Treatment for Eligibility


2.1. If an Agent is promoted to an Agency Leader during the contest period, then he/she is eligible to
participate under Agency Leader categories.
2.2. If an Agency Leader is demoted to an Agent during the contest period, then he/she is eligible to
participate under Agent categories only.

3. Treatment of rewards.
3.1. All qualifiers must maintain a valid contract with the Company at the time of receiving the reward.
3.2. Reward items won are strictly non-transferable, non-refundable and not exchangeable in lieu of cash
or any other benefits in kind, unless otherwise specified.
3.3. Incentive Trip rewards will be managed according to the Agency Incentive Trip Management Guidelines,
unless otherwise specified.
3.4. Rewards are subject to tax, in accordance with the requirements of the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).

4. Production / case count from new business / endorsements which are found to be reduced or cancelled,
within the contest period or within 6 months from the end of the contest period, will be adjusted accordingly.
4.1. The adjustment applies to CFI, lapsation, removal of riders, and any other action that causes a reduction
in premiums / contributions.
4.2. The Company reserves the right to claw back rewards, where applicable.

5. Treatment for production / cases Cancelled From Inception (CFI).


5.1. Any production or case count from policies which are submitted and captured within the contest period
and subsequently cancelled, will be deducted for this contest.
5.2. The Company reserves the rights to claw back the relevant rewards, if after the contest period CFI causes
a qualifier’s reward to change.

6. Treatment for Lapsation.


6.1. Any production or case count from policies which are submitted and captured within the contest period
and subsequently lapsed, will be deducted for this contest.
6.2. Any policy that lapses within the contest period must be revived within the same contest period, to avoid
deduction of production and case count.

7. The Company reserves the right to disqualify any Agency Leader / Agent from receiving the relevant awards,
or claw back the relevant rewards, in the following situations, but not limited to these situations only:
7.1. The Agency Leader / Agent is found to have breached any requirements stipulated by the Company, or
any provision in his/her Agency Agreement with the Company, or if he/she is found to have breached
his/her fiduciary duties to PAMB.
7.2. The Agency Leader / Agent has placed production / case count under their spouse, under any other
Agency Leader / Agent.
7.3. The Agency Leader / Agent has policies that are detected under premium churning.

8. The Company’s decision on all matters relating to any contest or reward will be final and binding on all persons
participating in the contest or reward.
8.1. The Company reserves the right at its absolute discretion to amend, delete or add to any of the rules and
general provisions from time to time, if and when it is necessary, without prior notice.
