TWIN automatsikt smörjsystem
Din maskin är utrustad med ett TWIN automatiskt smörjsystem från
Groeneveld. Systemet som är konstruerat speciellt för proffisionella
tillämpningar smörjer automatiskt alla punkter som anslutits till det.
Smörjningen sker med rätt mängd och med inställda tidsintervall.

Systemet består av
• en smörjpump med integrerad kontrollenhet
• distributionsblock med doseringsenheter
• en display eller en omkopplare med inbyggd signallampa

Systemets arbetssätt
Systemet arbetar automatiskt. När tändningen slagits på eller systemets
startats kommer pumpen att med inställt tidsintervall förse alla punkter med
avvägda smörjmängder. Inom 60 sekunder efter det att tändningen slagits
på visar displayen det inställda smörjintervallet. Om systemet är utrustat
med omkopplare kommer signallampan att blinka 1, 2 eller 3 gånger för att
visa intervallet. Detta upprepas 4 gånger.

Om systemet har display kan tiden ändras enligt följande:
- Kontrollera att tändningen är på.
- Välj intervall genom att trycka på knappen på displayen.

Ändring av tidsintervall med omkopplare

Om systemet har omkopplare ändras tidsinställningen enligt följande:
- Slå på tändningen.
- Vänta 30 sekunder och tryck sedan ned omkopplaren en, två eller tre
korta tryck.
- Efter 15 sekunder kommer lampan att visa det nya värdet.

Påfyllning av tanken
Om den gula lysdioden på displayen tänds eller signallampan i
omkopplaren blinkar i 2 minuter (0,5 sek. till/0,5 sek. från) i början av varje
smörjcykel har miniminivån i smörjtanken nåtts. I så fall skall tanken fyllas
så snart som möjligt.
1. Tag bort dammkåpan från påfyllnadskopplingen.
2. Gör rent kopplingen och kopplingen på påfyllnadsslangen.
3. Fäst slangen vid kopplingen.
4. Fyll upp tanken till märket för max nivå.
5. Tag bort slangen och sätt tillbaka dammskyddet.
6. Fäst slangen på kopplingen på påfyllnadspumpen så att slangen hålls
ren.

Anmärkning:
Fyll inte upp tanken innan display eller signallampa har varnat för låg nivå.

Tester
För att kontrollera systemets funktion kan en smörjning utföras.
1. Slå på tändningen.
2. Tryck ned testknappen på pumpen i 3 till 5 sekunder. Systemet kommer
att göra en provsmörjning. Under testet kommer en grön lysdiod på
displayen eller omkopplarens signallampa, att blinka (2 sek. till/2 sek.
från). Den lysdiod på displayen som blinkar visar också vilket intervall
som ställts in.

För att göra en extra smörjning av alla punkter (t.ex. efter rengöring av
maskinen) eller för att avlufta systemet kan en kontinuerlig smörjning
göras.
1. Slå på tändningen.
2. Tryck ned knappen på pumpen i mer än 6 sekunder. Systemet kommer
att börja en kontinuerlig smörjning. Under testet kommer en grön
lysdiod på displayen eller omkopplarens signallampa, att blinka (0,2
sek. till/0,2 sek. från). Den lysdiod på displayen som blinkar visar också
vilket intervall som ställts in.
3. Den kontinuerliga pumpningen slutar när tändningen slås från.

En testcykel kan bara startas under förutsättning att en normal smörjning

inte pågår. Om pumpning av smörjmedel pågår har ett tryck på
testknappen ingen verkan.

Rekommendationer smörjmedel
Smörjmedel får inte innehålla grafit eller PTFE. Det är mycket viktigt att
använda rätt smörjmedel i TWIN. Smörjmedel med högst 5%
molybdendisulfid (MoS2) kan användas.
Groeneveld rekommenderar användning av GreenLube smörjmedel.
Användning av halvflytande fett över maxtemperatur enligt tabellen nedan
är ej lämpligt. Det kan leda till dålig smörning och ökat slitage i de smorda
punkterna.

Rådgör alltid med smörjmedelsleverantören före ändring av specifikationer.

Periodiska kontroller
1. Kontrollera nivån i tanken men fyll inte upp innan miniminivån har
nåtts.
2. Kontrollera att display eller omkopplare fungerar.
3. Kontrollera så att valt tidsintervall är rätt för maskinens driftsätt.
4. Se efter så att pumpen inte läcker eller har skador.
5. Se efter så att rören inte läcker eller har skador.
6. Kontrollera smörjpunkterna. Rätt mängd nytt smörjmedel skall finnas
i varje punkt.
7. Kontroller hela systemet genom en testkörning.
8. Gör rent pumpen och kringliggande delar.
9. Byt eller gör rent filtret under påfyllnadskopplingen på tanken var
500:de timme.

Automatic TWIN Greasing System
Your machine is equipped with a Groeneveld Automatic Twin Greasing
System. Designed specifically for the industrial market, the system will
automatically lubricate all points connected to the lubrication system on a
timed cycle, with the correct quantity of grease.

The system consists of

• a grease pump with integrated control unit
• distribution blocks with metering units
• a display or a cycle mode switch with an integrated lamp

System performance
The system performs all operations automatically. After the ignition is
switched on or is in operation the pump will at pre-defined intervals supply
measured quantities of grease to all the points. Within 60 seconds after
switching on the ignition the display shows you the selected interval. If your
system is equipped with a switch the indicator lamp will light up 1, 2 or 3
times, indicating the selected interval. This pattern will be repeated 4 times.

Changing of the interval time with the display

If your system is equipped with a display you can change the interval time
as follows:
- Check if the ignition is switched on.
- Select the interval time you want by pushing on the button of the
display.

If your system is equipped with a selector switch you can change the
interval time as follows:
- Switch the ignition on.
- After 30 seconds depress the selector switch once, twice or three times
for a short while.
- After 15 seconds the lamp will indicate the new selected interval.

Filling of the reservoir
If the yellow LED on the display lights up or the indicator lamp in the switch
flashes for 2 minutes (0,5 sec. on/0,5 sec. off) at the beginning of each
cycle the minimum grease level in the reservoir has been reached. If that
occurs the reservoir has to be refilled as soon as possible.
7. Remove the dust cap from the filler coupling.
8. Carefully clean the filler cocupling and the coupling on the filler hose.
9. Fix the filler hose on the filler coupling.
10. Fill the reservoir up to the maximum level indicated on the reservoir.
11. Remove the filler hose and fit the dust cap.
12. Fix the filler hose on the filler coupling of the filler pump, so that the filler
hose stays clean.

Remark:

Do not fill the reservoir before you have a low level indication on the
display or on the indicator lamp in the switch.

Tests
In order to check the system a single lubrication can be performed.
3. Switch ignition on.
4. Depress the test button on the pump for 3 to 5 seconds. The system will
run a single test. During this test the green LED of the selected interval
on the display or the indicator lamp in the switch will flash (2 sec. on/2
sec. off).

In order to provide additional grease to all grease points (i.e. after cleaning
the machine) or to vent the system a continuous lubrication cycle run can
be performed.
4. Switch ignition on.
5. Depress the test button on the pump for more than 6 seconds. The
system will perform a continuous lubrication test. During this run the
green LED of the selected interval on the display or the indicator lamp
in the switch will flash (0,2 sec. on/0,2 sec. off).
6. The continuous test cycle ends after the ignition has been switched off.

A test cycle can only be started when the system is not in the pump phase
of a current greasing cycle. If the system is busy with a pump cycle, it will
not react to the test push button.

Grease recommendations
Grease should not contain graphite or PTFE. Use of the correct grease in
the TWIN system is of utmost importance. The use of grease with a
maximum of 5% molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) is permitted.
Groeneveld recommends the use of our GreenLube grease.
The use of a semi fluid grease above the maximum temperature indicated
in the table is not permitted because can lead to excessive component
wear of the lubricated grease points.

Always consult your lubricant supplier when changing grease specification.

Periodic checks
10. Check the grease level in the reservoir, but do not refill the reservoir
before the minimum level is reached.
11. Check the display or the illuminated switch is functioning.
12. Check if the selected interval time is correct for the working
conditions of the machine.
13. Check the pump for damage and leakage.
14. Check the grease pipes for damage and leakage.
15. Check the condition of the grease points served by the system.
Sufficient fresh grease should be present.
16. Check the operation of the system. Perform a cycle test.
17. Clean the pump unit and its surroundings.
18. Replace or clean the pump filler filter behind the connector on the
reservoir every 500 hours.
