A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF (SALUTATION) (BABY ROSE

PERELLO) AS SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN TREASURER OF BARANGAY (BARANGAY),
(MUNICIPALITY), LA UNION

WHEREAS, Section 13, paragraph (f) of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the
Republic Act 10742 otherwise known as Sangguniang kabataan Reform Act of 2015, states
that the Chairman has the power to appoint the Secretary and Treasurer with the
concurrence of the Sangguniang Kabataan;

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742 further provides for the following qualifications of an SK
Secretary:

a. must be a citizen of the Philippines,

b. must be a qualified and registered member of the Katipunan ng Kabataan;

c. must be a resident of the barangay for not less than one (1) year immediately
preceding the day of the elections;

d. must be at least eighteen (18) years but not more than twenty-four (24) years of age on
the day of the elections.

e. must be able to read and write Filipino, English, or the local dialect.

f. must not be related within the second degree of consanguinity or affinity to any
incumbent elected national official or to any incumbent elected regional, provincial, city,
municipal, or barangay official, in the locality where he or she seeks to be elected; and

g. must not have been convicted by final judgment of any crime involving moral
turpitude.

WHEREAS, the SK Chairperson (Name)appointed (Salutation) (Name)for the position of SK

Treasurer from among the Katipunan ng Kabataan members of Barangay (barangay,
municipality), La Union, after due consideration of her qualifications required for the position
as SK Secretary;

WHEREAS, as SK Treasurer, (Salutation) (Name) shall perform the following duties enshrined
the aforementioned in Implementing Rules and Procedures:

a. Take custody of all SK properties and funds and ensures proper turnover to the next SK
Treasurer;

b. collects and receives contributions, monies, materials, and all other resources intended
for SK and KK, and issues the corresponding official receipts;

c. Serves as cosignatory in all withdrawals from SK funds;

 d. Disburses funds in accordance with the approved annual budget and supplemental
budget;

e. Certifies the availability of SK funds;

f. At the end of every fiscal quarter, submits certified and detailed Statements of Actual
Income and Expenditures (SOAIE) to SK and SB;

g. Posts a copy of the SOAIE on the barangay bulletin board and in at least three (3)
conspicuous places within the jurisdiction of the barangay; and

h. Prepares a written financial report of all SK funds and property under her/his custody,
renders and makes printed copies of this financial report available to KK members during the
regular KK assembly.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to concur the appointment of

(Salutation) (Name) as Treasurer of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay (barangay,
municipality, La Union;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to concerned authorities such
as Department of Interior and Local Government and Local Youth Development office for
their information and guidance.
