I. Objectives:
To ensure proper care and management of the wildlife that are in Baguio City and to provide them
with a home to people who are willing to retrieve them.
II. Perceived Strengths
1. Stray animals will have a home with people that will cater their needs.
2. There will be an engagement with community members who love animals and are willing to open
their homes temporarily to pets in need.
3. The amount of stray animals roaming around will be reduced.
4. Safety and comfort for sick or injured pets in need of healing, animals who have been in the
shelter for an unusually long time and pets with contagious diseases
5. The people’s awareness about animal welfare will be increased.

III. Perceived Weaknesses

- Since stray animals are to be wild, it would be a difficult task to gain their trust.
- There are only a few functioning animal shelters in Baguio City.
- It is expected that most of them have rabies that can be a danger to the students.

IV. Possible Partners

- Baguio City Veterinary Office
- Casusi Mountain Farm
- Unimed Animal Bite Center
