This standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 121 ‘Welding’.
The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Schweißtechnik
(Welding Standards Committee), Technical Committee Grundlagen der Qualitätssicherung beim Schweißen.
DIN V 1738 is the standard corresponding to International Standard ISO/TR 15608 referred to in clause 2 of
the EN.
