CALL TO ORDER:
The session was called to order at 7:00 O’clock in the evening.
ROLL CALL:
The roll showed that majority is present. The chair declares the presence of quorum.
PRELIMINARIES:
The 5th regular session of Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Tingub was called to order at 7 PM on
October 06, 2018 (Saturday) at the Barangay Hall, Brgy. Tingub Mandaue City. Ms. Jennifer S.
Paradiang, SK Chairperson, and Mr. Reymart J. Rosell, were present.

Unfinished Business:
1.) Collection of pictures and tracing of the 1st to the recent Sangguniang Kabatan Chairperson
and Tenyente Del Barrio and Punong Barangay.
-Hon. Jennifer Paradiang informs the council that collections of pictures are still in process
2.) Update of the Sangguniang Kabataan Bank Account
-Hon Jennifer Paradiang talks about the update of bank account since it is needed then the SK
Treasurer is still busy it’s because of her priority which is the school and now the Update of it is
now in state of process
3.) Risk Reduction and Disaster Management Seminar
- Hon. Jennifer Paradiang informs the council that the risk reduction disaster seminar is still in
process because of the hectic schedule
4.) Green Brigade Activities
-Hon. Jennifer Paradiang told Hon. Jayson Dayon to have a officers of the Green Brigade so that
if there is activity he can easily tell the officers about the activity and Hon. Jayson Dayon
approved en mass
5.) Anti-Drug Campaign through movie marathon in each Sitio
-Hon. Jennifer Paradiang informs the council that in the 3rd week of October they can have a
movie marathon in sitio’s and the council approved en mass
Business for the Day:
1 .Create an Annual Proposal for each committee
-Hon. Jennifer Paradiang teach the council on how to make a proposal she disscuss what will do
to have a proposal or other paper works before making the activities so that there is no conflict at
all
2. Plan for the Pink October “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” and Halloween Fundraising
-Hon.Jennifer Paradiang asked Hon. Kathy Yongco about the Womens Months since she is the
chairman of Womens what is the planned for the Pink October and Hon. Kathy Yongco informs
the council that she will be conducting a pageant for women to be the Ambassadress of the
Breast Cancer Awereness then the peagent will be on October 20 2018 then the council and Hon.
Jennifer Paradiang approved en mass and Hon. Kathy Yongco told that she will make a activity

plan a day after the session and Hon Jeffrey Huerte tolds the council that he need assistance for
the upcoming event which is the HORROR BOOTH and the council is en mass approved
3. Special KK Assembly Schedule
-Hon. Jennifer Paradiang asked the council when will be the special assembly for KK so that the
KK will be inform beyond the given date then the council approved by October 27 2018 is the
KK Special Assembly and Hon. Jennifer Paradiang approved en mass
4. Update the Allocation for the Load allowance and cellphone
-Hon. Jennifer Paradiang informs the council about the update still for canvass

7. Update of the Sangguinang Kabataan Officials Honorarium
-Hon. Jennifer Paradiang informs the councils about the honorarium that by next year the
honorarium of the Sangguniang Kabataan member will be P1000 through Mandaue City

-Hon. Jayson Dayon informs Hon. Jennifer Paradiang that he still in the process of follow up

-Time Management
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang told the council that in every activity that the SK have
the council must give time and they know how to manage the time so that the flow of
the activity will not be affected by the lack of time

*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang told the council about the lack of equipment because of
less budget

*The council decided to have a seminar of coaches and players so that they will know
the flow of the games
- Lack of Budget
*The main problem of the council is that the lacking of budget because there is some
tendencies that they forget the materials needed in that event
- Game schedule problem
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang told the council about the game schedule because of the
hectic schedule of the councils and the satff
- Participants cooperation
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang told the council about the paricipants cooperation just
because many participants disobey the rules
- Lack of Preparation
*Hon. Jennifer Paradiang told the council about the lack of preparation beacause of
the hectic schedule of the other council member
- Program flow
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang tackled about the making of program she told the council
that in every activity they should make the program a day before the activity so that
the program will run softly
- Management of funds to be used
*The council and Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang talks about the management of the funds
so that they will be no shortage of the funds
- Crowd control
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang tolds the council that in every actitivity they should be a
facilitator for the crowd so that the youth will be in safe
- Delegation task
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang tolds the council that they should be more active when it
comes in delegation
- Attendance (Sk officials during the activity and special meeting)
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang told the council that they should come in all activity and
special meeting because it is recquired
- Muse costume provided
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang told the council that the muse of each barangay should
wear the designated color or uniform given to the contestant
- Information Brigade
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang tolds the council that the one who facilitate to give the
information should be clear and convincing
-Differentiate the priority and urgent matters
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang tolds the council that they should know how to prioritize
or manage the time of each member because they commit in that certain position they
should know on how to prioritize their duty
2.) Immersion of the KK Officers to the Rotaract Club of Mandaue
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang tolds the council about the Immersion of the KK officers
to the Rotaract Club and they encourage the the council to join the said organization
3.) Drug Symposium Seminar
*Hon. Jennifer S. Paradiang told the council that there is a symposium seminar held
at Tingub National High School Gymnisium and the council is en mass approved

-Hon. Jennfer Paradiang informs the council about the mass but suddenly the council cannot
attend because there is a clean-up drive on that day the Mandaue City will conduct a Butuanon
River Clean- up drive

-Hon. Jennifer Paradiang informs the council about the said event which held in Baguio City
with Hon. Jeffrey Huerte and Hon. Mervin Ceniza and she congratulate Hon. Mervin Ceniza
about the award that he get in the event

-Hon Jennifer Paradiang talks about the council about the seminar that she attended and she
discuss to the council about the said seminar

Adjournment:
There is no discussion to tackle on, upon the motion of Hon.Jose Renier Demape and duly
seconded by Hon. Kathy Yongco the 5th regular session is moved to adjourn at 09:00 O’clock in
the evening.
