MINUTES OF THE 1ST KATIPUNAN NG KABATAAN GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Date: May 23, 2025

Time Started: 1:50 PM

Venue: Barangay West Poblacion Covered Court

I. Call to Order

The meeting was officially called to order at 1:50 PM following the signing of the
attendance sheet.

II. Opening Remarks

The General Assembly was presided over by Hon. Mark Vincent S. Berja, SK
Chairperson, together with the SK Council members. The purpose of the assembly was to present
and discuss this year’s plans and programs with the youth sector of the barangay.

III. Presentation of 2025 Budget and Plans

The first agenda was the presentation of the 2025 SK Budget. The SK Chairperson
provided a detailed breakdown of the budget allocation aligned with the council’s planned
programs and activities for the year. The proposed plans and projects were previously agreed
upon by the SK Council.

IV. Election of Zone Youth Leaders

An election of youth representatives was conducted per zone. Each zone successfully
elected the following positions:

 President
 Vice President
 Secretary
These elected youth leaders will serve as the primary point of contact for disseminating
information from the SK Council to their respective zones.

V. Discussion of Linggo ng Kabataan 2025

The main agenda of the assembly was the planning of the upcoming Linggo ng Kabataan
2025, which is scheduled for the last week of July to early August. The Council opened the floor
for suggestions, and various games and activities were proposed by the youth participants. All
ideas were democratically discussed and approved by majority agreement.

VI. Raffle Draw and Closing

To conclude the program, a raffle draw was held wherein several lucky youth participants
received prizes. The assembly ended on a positive and engaging note, with active participation
from the attendees and appreciation for the opportunity to be involved in planning the barangay’s
youth events.

VII. Adjournment

The assembly was officially adjourned after all matters were discussed and addressed.
