1 Preliminaries The 1 regular meeting of Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay 710
occurred at 2 pm on December 10, 2023 (Sunday) at 710 Barangay Hall
Malate, Manila. The meeting was attended by the following SK officers:
SK Chairman Janet A. Carbon, SK Kagawad Betina Lou I. Aquino, SK
Kagawad Colleen Janell B. Cebuma, SK Kagawad Catherine A. Balais, SK
Kagawad Maria Patricia Sojuaco, Acting Treasurer Angela Kate Barber
and Acting Secretary Remiuz G. Artuyo. Two (2) SK Kagawad were not
able to attend the meeting: SK Kagawad Isaiah Kristian Z. Sebastian and
SK Kagawad Harvey A. Guemo.

Ms. Carbon presented the agenda as follows:

2 Business for the a. Appointment of Treasurer and Secretary
Day The SK Chairman in concurrence with the SK council appointed Mr.
Remiuz
G. Artuyo as SK Secretary and Ms. Angela Kate B. Barber as SK Treasurer.

b. Identification/Appointment of Committee Heads

The SK Chairman in concurrence with the SK council appointed one (1)
spearhead and two (2) members in each committee, whereas:
 The Committee on Education will be spearheaded by Ms. Betina I.
Lou Aquino together with her members Ms. Catherine A. Balais
and Ms. Maria Patricia B. Sojuaco.
 The Committee on Environmental Protection and Disaster Risk
Reduction will be spearheaded by Ms. Irish C. Rillon with Ms.
Colleen Janell B. Cebuma and Ms. Betina Lou Aquino as members.

 The Committee on Youth Employment and Livelihood will be

spearheaded by Mr. Isaiah Kristian Z. Sebastian together with his
members Mr. Harvey A. Guemo and Ms. Maria Patricia B. Sojuaco.
 The Committee on Health Services and Reproductive Health
will be spearheaded by Ms. Maria Patricia B. Sojuaco with her
members Ms. Colleen Janell B. Cebuma and Ms. Irish C. Rillon.
 The Committee on Anti-Drug Abuse and Social Protection will
be led by Ms. Colleen Janell B. Cebuma with Ms. Catherine A.
Balais and Ms. Irish C. Rillon as members.
 The Committee on Sports Development will be spearheaded by
Ms. Catherine A. Balais together with her members Mr. Isaiah
Kristian Z. Sebastian and Ms. Betina Lou I. Aquino
 The Committee on Gender Inclusivity will be led by Mr. Harvey
A. Guemo with his members Mr. Isaiah Kristian Z. Sebastian and
Ms. Maria Patricia B. Sojuaco.

c. Schedule of Regular SK meetings and KK Consultations

The council agreed that Regular SK meetings will be held every 1 st Sunday
of the month at exactly 1 pm onwards. Meanwhile, KK Consultations will
be held every June and December which will be forecasted through
Barangay 710 Sangguniang Kabataan Social Media Platforms.

d. Initial Discussion of Action Plan

The following programs and events are proposed by each committee heads
and members:
 Committee on Education proposed to have:
1. Distribution of School Supplies each school year.
2. Distribution of Children Books every month.
3. Free Printing Services
 Committee on Health Services and Reproductive Health
proposed to have:
1. Distribution of Vitamins to Youth every month
2. Distribution of First Aid Kits
3. Publication Material about HIV and STD Awareness
 Committee on Anti-Drug Abuse and Social Protection proposed
to have:
1. Publication Materials about Illegal Drugs and Safe Spaces Act
 Committee on Sports Development proposed to have:
1. E-Sports Tournament for the Youth (Games includes Mobile
Legends and Call of Duty).
2. Larong Pilipino Activities

e. Schedule of Youth Profiling

The council agreed to execute their Youth Profiling from January 14, 2023
until January 21, 2023. The Youth Profiling forms and consent forms will
be distributed in a face-to-face manner. Thus, the council will seek
assistance to their Barangay Chairperson concerning information
dissemination of the matter.
3 Other Matters a. Creation and Management of 710 Sangguniang Kabataan

The council concurred to create a Facebook Page for better information
dissemination to their constituent. The Facebook Page will be created by
Ms. Colleen Janell B. Cebuma before the council’s Youth Profiling occur.
The council members will have equal access to the said page. All council
members are responsible in maintaining and managing the FB page.
b. Possible Year-End Program/Activity for the Youth

The council decided to seek financial assistance or solicitation for their

Year- End program. The target date for the said program will be on
December 30, 2023 (Saturday) at exactly 1 pm.
c. Honorarium for SK Council
 In adherence to Republic Act No. 11768 the amount of the monthly
honorarium of the SK Officials shall be subject to their attendance
at SK meetings, deliberations, and official activities of the SK.
 The monthly honorarium shall be pro-rated based on the actual
work and/or attendance vis-à-vis the work and/or meeting schedule
of performance standards as may be prescribed under the internal
rules of the SK concerned.
4 Schedule of The 2nd Sangguniang Kabataan Regular Meeting will be held on January 7,
Next Meeting 2024, at exactly 1 pm onwards at 710 Barangay Hall Malate, Manila.
5 Adjournment The 1st Sangguniang Kabataan Regular Meeting ended at exactly 3:15 pm.
