RESOLUTION NO. 2018-003

“A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR THE OBSERVANCE OF
LINGGO NG KABATAAN AND KATIPUNAN NG KABATAAN ASSEMBLY AMOUNTING
TO NINETY FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (P94,500).”

WHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance to section 33 of RA. 10742 otherwise known as

Observance of 'Linggo ng Kabataan', every province, city, municipality, and barangay shall
conduct an annual activity to be known as the Linggo ng Kabataan on the the week where
the 12th of August falls to coincide with the International Youth Day. The SK, in the case of
barangay, and the respective LYDC in cooperation with the Pederasyon ng mga SK, in the
case of province, city and municipality, shall take the lead in this observance;

WHEREAS, as mandated by RA 10742 under section 6, The SK chairperson shall convene

the first KK general assembly not later than three (3) months after the proclamation of the
results of the SK elections;

WHEREAS, the Linggong Kabataan and Katipunan ng Kabataan assembly will fall on the
same week, the SK officials shall perform such duties and conduct such activities as may be
provided. The activities/programs considered by the Sanggunian are as follows:

 Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly

B. August 14, 2018

 Slipper Giving at San Juan Elementary School- Unit I

WHEREAS, in able to comply with the observance and assembly, the Sanggunian shall be
granted a fund amounting to eighty two thousand pesos (P94,500). The detailed expenses to
be made are as follows:

LINGGO NG KABATAAN FUND PROGRAM

I. Slipper Giving for 3 days

 Slippers (300 pieces) Php 15,000

 Foods and Beverages (300 children) 10,000

II. Walk for the Environment and your Health

 Prizes (3 winners) Php 6,000
 Foods and Beverages (200 participants) 15,000
 Printed Shirts (200 participants) 25,000
 Garbage bags 500
 Honorarium for the Guest Speakers 1,000

III. Other Expenses

 Sound System Php 4,000

 Honorarium for the Drum and Lyre Organization 3,000
 Sangguniang Kabataan Uniform (16 members) 6,500
 Chairs and Tables 2,500
 Tarpaulins and Posters for invitation 4,000

TOTAL: Php 94,500

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as it is hereby RESOLVED by the Sangguniang

Kabataan of Barangay San Juan Cainta, Rizal to approve the fund to be used for the
Observance of Linggo ng Kabataan and Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly amounting to
Ninety Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P94,500).

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all offices and
organizations concerned for their proper information, guidance and implementation.
