MURAL PAINTING CONTEST GUIDELINES

1. Participants must be Bona fide students of Southern Luzon State University (SLSU)
Lucena Campus.
2. This will be a competition by every department in (SLSU) Lucena. Each Department
should have a representative consisting of 5 members only.
3. Each representative must submit a mini version of their Mural design in a long bond
paper.
4. The artwork must be in accordance to the theme “One Purpose, One Mission, One
Dream”.
5. Entries must be submitted to thenames below.
6. The deadline of submission of artworks will be on February 6, 2020.
7. Artworks will be judge based on the following criteria:

RELEVANCE TO THE THEME: 30%

QUALITY OF ARTISTIC COMPOSITION: 40%
Color (10%)
Balance (10%)
Harmony (10%)
Contrast (10%)
ORIGINALITY AND OVER ALL IMPACT: 30%

TOTAL 100%
8. Final judging will be held at SLSU Lucena Covered Court 4:00 P.M. on the last day of
foundation day.
