SPOKEN WORD POETRY CONTEST

Guidelines:
1. The contest is exclusive to all resident of Pozorrubio ages 30 years old and below.
2. The piece must be answering “Sa Pandemya, may natutunan ka ba?”.
3. Maximum length of video must be within 2-3 minutes only. (Landscape format, half-body size)
4. Videos must be taken “INDOORS” by any type of mobile phone or smartphone cameras with
minimal music background.
5. Poetry must be original and each participant is allowed to submit one entry only.
6. Filipino should be the language used consistently for the entire poem.
7. Participant must wear semi-formal/casual attire.
8. Entries must be suitable for publication to a general audience and must not contain anything
that is defamatory, sexually explicit, and or obscene images.

9. All entries must be in digital form (MP4 Format) and must be submitted to
skpozorrubio@gmail.com with the following details:
 Name
 Barangay
 Birthday
 Contact Number
 Facebook Name/Link
 Title
 Encoded piece

10. In sending your entry, you give the organizers the right to use your Spoken Word Poetry
performance in any advocacy, publication, and/or publicity purposes.
11. SKMF deserves the right not to accept or disqualify entries that do not follow the given
guidelines.
12. Deadline for submission of entries in until 11PM of August 21, 2020.
13. Videos will be posted on Pozorrubio Sangguniang Kabataan 2018-2020 Page on August 22,
2020.
14. For the People’s Choice, each HEART and WOW reaction is worth 1 point. Other reactions
are not counted. Reactions will be counted from August 22, 2020-August 25, 2020 7PM.
15. Winners will be posted on August 28, 2020. Top 3 shall receive cash prize and certificate:
1st Place – 3,000.00

2nd Place-2,000.00

3rd Place – 1,000.00

16. Spoken poetry will be judged based on the following criteria:

 Content of the Poem/Relevance to the theme – 30%

 Voice Projection/Clarity of Deliver – 25%
 Facial Expressions and Appropriateness of Gestures – 25%
 People’s Choice – 20%
