UNLOCKING YOUR LOCKED DESTINY

Bible Text: Revelation 3:8

What Are Doors?

Doors are means of entrance or access. Doors are mechanisms of safety and security.
Just as physical doors are real, spiritual doors are also real. Your actual experience in
life is determined by the types of doors that are opened to you in the spirit realm.
There are so many born-again tongue speakers that are evangelically inclined, who are
walking under a locked and closed destiny.

How Do You Know That Your Destiny Is Locked?

1. When naturally, you discover you are qualified for something but you are denied for
no reason.

2. When your destiny is locked, your certificate(s) will not help.

3. When your destiny is locked, even your beauty won't help. Thus, the beautiful one
would be bypassed and the ugly person would be sought after and gotten married to.

4. When your destiny is locked, every road that opens naturally for or to others closes
when it is your turn.

5. When your destiny is locked, nothing favours you.

6. When your destiny is locked, circumstances and situations react against you. Hence,
life becomes hostile, bitter, nasty, or unconducive for you.

7. When your destiny is locked, something that should have helped you will dis-help
you.

8. When your destiny is locked, promotion is far away from you, or your business takes
a downturn.

9. When your destiny is locked, if someone is trying to help you, all of a sudden,
something mysteriously blocks or happens to the person.

10. When your destiny is locked, when you do good, you will be rewarded with evil.
Things That Happen When A Destiny Is Unlocked (2 Kings 25:27-30)

1. Something Memorable Happens: Memorable blessings surface (2 Kings 25:27-30). There

is a day you will never forget in your life and that is when something memorable
happens to you.

2. Uncommon, Unprecedented And Unusual Blessings Or A Destiny Helper Will Arise For You (2 Kings
25:27c):When God decides to help you, He can use anyone, for His ways and thoughts
are not ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

3. Captivity Ends: Captivity not just ends, it turns (Psalm 126:1). Yoke is broken; you
then move from bondage to freedom, and affliction ends.

4. Impossibility Of The Past Years Will Be A Testimony: For example, Joseph had been in prison
for years. Everything that would have favoured him didn't work but the day came in his
life when impossibilities of past years became a testimony, and the butler he had once
helped, remembered him. Joseph was brought out of prison, sworn in as a minister,
and he got married in one day. Joseph's story can be best described as a locked destiny
that was unlocked.

5. Losses Of Past Years Are Returned To You With Profit (Joel 2:25, Job 42:10, 13): Wipe away your
tears, the God who can do the impossible is still alive. With God, all things are possible
(Luke 1:37), and nothing is too hard for God to do (Jeremiah 32:17, 27).

6. You Will Begin To Wallow In The Hall Of Divine Remembrance (Genesis 30:22): In the Bible,
when Jacob laboured, he did so for Rachel but he was given Leah. Hence before Joseph
was born, his destiny was exchanged. Joseph was a victim of ancestral exchange.
Instead of Joseph being the first child of Jacob, he was the eleventh child. But Joseph
got it back (2 Chronicles 5).

7. Stagnation Gives Way To Progress (Genesis 41:40-46).

8. The Regulatory Law Of Nature Will Be Suspended For You: When a destiny is unlocked, what
takes usual procedure takes an unusual proceeding, as seen in the story of David when
he was to be anointed king. Samuel said he would not stop enquiring from the LORD
until he anointed the right person to the throne.

How Do You Unlock Your Destiny?

1. You need to shun and get out of sin: "SIN" stands for Satan Identity Number. There are people
who come to church regularly and they sin regularly. If you truly come to God, you will
need grace to get out of sin. Surrender to God today (John 1:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17).

2. Stand On The Word Of God: Isaiah 40:8 says "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the
word of our God shall stand for ever." Luke 21:33 says "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my
words shall not pass away." You can't just grow on Sunday, Sunday therapy, you grow in
the Word of God (Psalm 119:9-11). There is absolutely nothing you are looking for that
is not found in the Word of God. The reason some people are powerless is because they
don't have the Word of God inside of them. When the Word of God is in you, you are as
solid as a rock. When the Word of God is issued, God takes control and backs His Word.
Also, don't just study the Word of God, say the Word (Joshua 1:8).

3. Pray: Men ought always to pray, and not to faint; (Luke 18:1). Jeremiah 33:3
says "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest
not." And Matthew 7:7 says "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it
shall be opened unto you:" In addition, John 14:14 says "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I
will do it." Philippians 4:6 says "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." And Isaiah 65:24
says "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I
will hear."

In conclusion, are you living in sin or have you backslidden? Surrender your life to
Jesus Christ today. God is ready to transform your life, He is ready to help you, and a
new chapter of glory will be opened in your life. The Blood of Jesus will wash away your
iniquity, and the power of God will unlock whatever has locked your destiny, God will
give you the miracle that will make you dance and stir you to testify in Jesus Name.
